My Suzuki B-king Story - 10 years and still loving it

- Almost 10 years on from buying my Suzuki B-KING as a birthday treat to myself, here is a brief look at things as they stand. I have had many bikes over the years and also taken test rides on new stuff like KTM Superduke, Ducati Diavel but none have given me the kick and feeling this has over the last 10 years.
Take into account you have to be spending over £10K used and over £16K for something new the Suzuki b-king has to be still one of the best value giggle machines ever.
No anti wheelie, traction control or even ABS so with 180+ rwhp it's a bike I would suggest is only for the experienced. It can be ridden normally but even after 10 years it still has the ability to make you open your eyes wide and get you in to trouble with the slightest of lapse in concentration.
The TODOLIST from me for any standard king owners would be "keep it standard and put it away for safe keeping" then buy another and start making it your own. Sort suspension out so it is set for you and your riding needs as soon as you get decat, can, remap and quick shifter fitted (the quick shifter is a real game changer and in my view a 100% must) then get it painted.
Few bikes have as much impact or are as good at making you laugh out loud in your helmet and feel special with the occasional "OH SHIT" moment thrown in.
Final comment - GO GET ONE.......! Спорт
What a beautiful bike, a beautiful story and a beautiful piece of music! Wishing you, your bike and your family a long and healthy life! God bless you!
I love this beast :) I have been drivingfor 11 years and I will not exchange it...
Not a huge fan of the BKing but that is very tasty, hats off to you sir
The picture of the black and silver one with those wheels and tires looks Beautiful, literally one of best looking bikes I've ever seen, EveR! I think I'm one of the very few who prefers this bike with the stock exhausts. AmazinG bike/beast.
B-King best Bike ever
Congrats for the project, goes to show how every setback and obstacle is an opportunity for improvement, and the end result was amazing!
Have mine for about 10yrs now as well. Just migrated to New Zealand last year and I could not let it go. So it came with me all the way from The Netherlands and this week I'm finally gonna get around to getting it plated! It's been sitting in storage for a year, feeling very neglected. Wouldn't even look at me the last time I opened up the container! 😅
See it's one of the faster black ones ;) Have one myself and are a cracking bike, not going anywhere :)
Amazing
I HAVE TOO BRO IN BLUE COLOR 2011 MODEL FINAL EDITION. 8500KMS DONE. KEPT WITH GREAT CARE
Wow that looks amazing, funny how the biggest mods to the bike, the repaint and new wheels, came from something unexpected. I'm interested in seeing how this would look like with two undertail pipes though!
I love my bking- nice mods
Great story ... will.make one of my own soon :)
Hail busa king . .
Ωραία και γω με το GSR 600, μοντέλο 2006, 👍👍😍😍

can only afford continental roadtec 01 & sometimes mich pr5 at the rear.... they last way longer than the pirelli supercorsa
Lovely transformation, what inspired the colour scheme? Can’t decide myself whether I’d rather go the hayabusa or bking route when the time comes, have a VFR currently.
Just bought one 2010 with 25000kms
Where can I get the slip on exhaust?
What was the damage £ and lead time on the paint work?
