It was about time Simon made his mark on the Megane so I ordered up some Deka 630cc injectors and got them on the Megane and let Simon do the rest.

How does the clutch hold up at lower down boost with that amount of torque? Mines stage 2 but standard injectors and turbo, just over 300bhp and about 310 torque and I did have clutch slip once in 6th boosting from low revs.
Look forward to seeing how this holds up! And try find out for sure if that's hybrid turbo or not!
Clutch holds up fine and it’s now running less torque than before!
How long has that clutch been in the car for ? Heard standard clutch is rated to 400 bhp.
When I done my gearbox I replaced when a new genuine clutch from Renault and a lightweight billet TTV single mass flywheel!
And tbh mate it has to be a standard turbo could never do that power
@@SOCIALLYDRIVEN mines probs original clutch 55k mile car. It hasn't done it again, but I've been careful not too boost in high gears when no need lol. (Only did that when I test drove the car before I bought it).

Good to see can get 350 with those mods though! Mines quick, I bet yours is right weapon now lol
Should downshift from 6th if giving a good hard throttle, especially if these are direct injection, avoid the lspi 👍
@@dbwarrior8600 yea I only did it to test the clutch when I bought my car, wouldn't usually do that
The standard clutches are pretty happy at 350lbft some do run more and depending how aggressive the torque curve is mapped depends on the likelihood of slip
Age of course doesnt help
Mine did 65k/6yrs before slip 🙈

Sounds a bit funky sometimes because of the flywheel pal. Trust me it sounds like it’s about to do a poo sometimes because of the fly!
