The section between the carousels is such a great test of the dynamics of a car, and this one passed for sure. Shame about the traffic through there though!

We've seen a video of the Clio 3 RS 200, Now with a Meg 3 RS, Would love to see one with a Meg 2 RS 225 and Clio 4 RS 200/220 and compare how these different RenaultSport models feel handling-wise as the suspension is similar in the RS models

Those kind of precission shifters require some time to be used to them. It is much more easy to misshift.

I love the power figures of English and American people... It makes sense in there heads only. This would be 430whp if it came from USA... Although clearly has the pace of the usual 330hp

Brilliant footwork
I watched the lap twice before listening to the end of laps chat. This man and car should be featured again when he next returns, having you do a pair of laps while talking, very entertaining. Also yes to the editing, shame dash cam agreed with you & that the tyres were now indeed warm, the soft edge visual merge on the screen is softer on the eyes while not distracting on front view cam. The car sounds great, it takes revs and just roars back at you, well until you let it breathe a little and it starts cackling at you an evil laugh as if to say MORE, listening to it while typing.
This car sounds so good for a RS Megane.

That gearbox seemed like it didn't want to cooperate in typical Renault style. Also the engine may be 400hp but it seemed like it ran out of revs two grand too soon.

Will add if it is the same lad Im sure I was on Combe at least once at one of the track days and he can drive well himself. Wonder if misha does a lap after to tell you the lines he likes and for wet / dry etc… and explain as he goes along.
At 6:32 why did you downshift twice with heel toe without letting the clutch out? Why not just go into the gear at once? Great video!

wow, that car took that money shift like a champ. But the lap seemed soo relaxed and fun!!! Was driving a car with the shift knob soo high a big change? Id understand for cars with a sequential the perks of it, but on a manual, imo it looks like it would make missing gears much easier
It wasn't a money shift. Instead of 4th, I went to 6th and then to neutral. Happens quite often to me there in RHD because of the G-forces.

@@mgcharoudin i may not be right but I think it was a moneyshift in fact. You went to 6th, then to 2th and finally 4th. We can hear that the revs went beyond the normal rev limiter and also your heads went foward as soon as you lift off the clutch due to engine braking which would not happen in neutral
Driving like you did makes it look so easy. I´ve been there once, drove my stock 120hp peugeot 308, and it was really fun. Wonder how you would perform in such a slow car as mine :)

Hey mate very nice setup tehre. its a megane rs so big deal. but the mods are done right. and its tuned well what ECU does it have?? . good work mate
They need to sort out the traffic problem on the end/exit of the track. that is horrendous! why don't they make 2 lanes and make the entry to the pit lane/end lap a bit further back so they don't have to drive through a parking lot. redesign the roadway to get them moving off the track and into a better area to stop. build a 2-3 storey car park that gives drivers a pit garage access to mini pnumatic car hoist, electricity, even air compressor lines. that would be wicked if they built that 3 storey car park but each person gets 2 bays, electricity and air compressor running down stairs. this would be accessible with purchasing a better Pass to be allocated a bay

lol i was there when the intro was shootet now i can see and hear the complete specs and see the complete lap i planning allready the next trip to the nordschleife with my opel Zafira and to stop by Apex Nürburg and maybe to have a Conversation and maybe a lap with you misha it may could be with my wife and my youngest or i send my wife on the raound with you XD could be very funny to see her then in a video XD

Wouldn't the gearshifts be slightly shorter and easier to find if they reduce the length of the stick.

A lot faster considering the stock horsepower is 275bhp ☺️
To me it looks very fast. Also how do you judge that ? By feeling ? I don't think anyone can judge something like that by a video not even if the speedometer(TM) is visible.

Car has 430HP but drives like stock 275. Something went wrong here.

This Mégane definitely doesn't have 430 hp
To be honest, i thought the same. I have a remapped Megane 3 RS with 310hp and 450 Nm and i nearly hit the same speeds as he does. But as he said, they had to keep the torque down.
But still a nice built car.

He’s not used to driving RHD cars, gets 6th instead of 4th, gets flustered, selects neutral, tries again and gets 2nd and probably hits about 9k rpm

I'd love to do a fast lap with Misha but I'd hate to be in a traffic jam with him 😅 Many times I've seen him really struggle in the traffic to be anything close to smooth. Misha's blood doesn't like < 5mph
