- I took a quick trip to Las Vegas to go to the Super Bowl... or so I thought. This is how my first U.S. mainland trip in several years went, and what I thought about the experiences.

What'up. Thank you, super . take care!
Thanks, you too!
Vegas looks a bit too commercial these days. I totally understand your “meh”. I’d take manicured gardens and ancient temples any day.
@@karmaoutlaw I think it’s always been… kind of an adult theme park really. I’m fine with choosing someplace else too lol
Aw man, I am so sorry that you guys experienced that Super Bowl ticket fiasco. In N Out Burger is always a good choice👍🏾. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Yeah it was a bummer but a story to tell 😅
@@barrettish BTW, I don’t care for Vegas but had to go for a wedding. My friend was knocked down by the hotel bellman luggage cart and sprained her wrist. We were comped a suite with a living room. She said the sprained wrist was worth it. Crazy girl.
@@roxas896 Wow that’s bad… I guess you got something out of it though, hopefully medical expenses weren’t too bad.
I’m not a big fan of Vegas either. I’ve mainly gone because family or friends wanted to go, I’m fine choosing someplace else lol. It’s pretty popular for Hawaii people for some reason.
Aww Barrett...what a bummer about the game. I watch some Vegas youtubers and they were all excited for Momofuku coming to Vegas. They are originally from NYC and were excited for the place to open. They were just meh about the place. You missed a great opportunity to go to some great Middle Eastern like at Marrakesh or Tapas in the Aria if you wanted to stay on the strip. I have been to Japan several times. I don't delude myself to think I am going to find Ramen or any Japanese food that measures up here in the states. I also don't get the appeal of In-N-Out. Had it several times living in San Jose. It's just ok..we have it now here in Northern Utah, and can't believe the lines for it.
Thanks! I'm sure I would've enjoyed those places more than what I had lol. I've also come to terms that I can't expect Japanese ramen in the states, it was the first time seeing it being made though and was pretty shocking, especially at those prices! As for In-N-Out, I get why people are mehh about it. I don't put it in a "good burger" category, just a good McDonald's category option if that makes sense. They've done pop-ups in Tokyo and I've heard the lines are hours long... hell no lol
you came to vegas and you didn't tell me!
You’re there now? I didn’t know! Was only in town for like 24 hours though
Damn, Shanahan shoulda fed CMC in the 3rd...but yeah Vegas has more to offer than the Strip. Our Chinatown is decent and Red Rock is pretty. Other than that we just a glorified burb...
The 3rd quarter was pretty bad overall. Such a letdown, they had it.
Fortunately I’ve been around Vegas beyond the Strip and Downtown a little before, not Chinatown yet though. I’ve enjoyed it. This time was just for the Super Bowl, or at least it was supposed to be.
Lol yeah I also learned that hella Hawaii braddahs are niners fans also
Disappointment--yeah, that pretty much sums up Las Vegas. Sorry you had a bum trip, Barrett.
Thanks. Yeah I’m not a big fan of Vegas, I usually only end up going when family or friends want to.
wow you have been everywhere! in-and-out is so so overrated.
lol not everywhere! I think In-N-Out is properly rated, for me at least. Reminds me of my time living in LA and SF. It’s overrated if you go for the image or hype.
