Thanks everyone so much for checking out the video! So far this one has really hi-view time which helps out the channel big-time! As mentioned at the end of the video NNKH hats now available here: www.nononsenseknowhow.com/product/nnkh-black-embroidered-hat-two-options/
Your videos and experiences are highly addictive. I always look forward to them so I can sit back and enjoy the ride as well as your expertise on auto mechanics.
I like how this channel doesn't have a lot of BS and doesn't feel like I'm watching a corporate sponsored tiktok influencer like others on YT. You're a real mechanic and Jen is a Saint. Don't think any of us could match the patience of either of you lol
Bunch of great littler car channels like this out there, Pole Barn Garage, Weird Beard, Mortske repair, and Watch Wes Work are some other good ones I'd recommend.
I bought one of your hats because you are a highway angel. In a world full of antagonistic division, your generosity toward your fellow Amercians / humans is commendable.
This has quickly become my favorite youtube channel. Cars, repairs, traveling and some comedic relief. The three of you (Gus included) are great to watch. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for taking me along on your cross country trip. 🙏 I love Gus and your wife reminds me of mine (she passed -fentanyl laced pot at a party). But it reminded me of our trips and the memories made along the way. And life goes on. I enjoy my 2018 1SS Camaro and I am going to start doing rhe trips again. Dude, I gotta tell you… I watch a lot of these will it run channels and restorations, etc. And yours is one of my favorites. This last segment that you did with your girl was awesome. Basic wrenching, old cars and trucks and magnificent scenery. You show us parts of the USA we would never otherwise get to see - and great company. Keep up the good work.
I had to pause the video at 22 minutes in because I wanted to tell you how incredibly awesome your drone shots are. I can't help it. I'm a former video editor. Really great shots!

Gosh this makes me miss my Suburban. I'm a Ford guy through and through but I did own a 99 1500 350 for two years and I loved it so much...also had plenty of good times in my buddies 84 3/4 ton 454 Burb back in highschool 😁
Ok I just watched the trip you took from las vegas to home. I really enjoyed the trip it basically was a trip. I took with you guys. Jen has a lovely singing voice and like I say I am a retired gentleman. And go along with you for the ride. Thank you for your videos!
I don't know how anyone could start watching the three of you and not go to the end. Wish I could contribute more than I do. I've always said that "Life is but memories" and you and Jen are making a shit-load of them. Keep them coming.

Dude, the apocalypse comes along I am hunting you down, your mechanic skills, no-drama attitude and resilience coupled with the absolutely joy of Jen and Gus makes hunting the wastelands for salvage worth it. Keep the videos coming !
Hey... I absolutely loved the drone shots of wheeling wv, I grew up in that town, and is where I'm from, there is a lot of history that was made there. It is where west Virginia was born during the civil war, and also our suspension bridge at one time was the longest in the world, it opened in 1849.. at 174 years old is still in existence. It is also an historical landmark, and is on the registry...
Just watched your Vegas to Philly video and I was dragged back in history when you went to the abandoned tunnel on PA Turnpike. I remember driving thru that tunnel around 1966 driving from New London, Ct to Ft Stockton, TX on my first leave after being stationed on a submarine based in New London. 18 years old, 1st car (1965 Malibu 1st time ever on a turnpike, and big first time driving thru a tunnel!! . A little spooky but overall a great trip! Thanks for the memories!!!
Chris just wanted to say I greatly enjoy your epic travel vlogs. I know it does wear both you and Jen out but i want to say Thank you for all you both do! Glad you finally got the Fury wagon title looking forward to an updated video on that! Jen needs to sing more her voice is awesome! Take Care!
Did Las Vegas to S.W. Ontario twice in '92 ('70 Torino 4 sp. 351 Shaker, second time, my grandma's '68 Mustang coupe.) 2 days from now Ontario to Vancouver island with wife and son in son's 2000 Tundra. Love the old car road trip. You just never know....
Haven't seen a train loaded with military hardware like that since the first gulf war. Seen them going up green and coming down custer hill on fort riley tan to get loaded on the trains.
i like the fly far away find a unloved vehicle and drive it all the way home. it reminds me of the old roadkill episodes back before it went all snooty. you keep doing these adventures and ill keep watching ya do it. 👍.
Potholes are a driver's worst curse. Some might find this hard to believe, but as an Albertan I can tell you first hand that you could drive almost every mile of Alberta's highways and not find a single pothole. The road maintenance is really amazing here. A big shout out to the Alberta DOT.
Before the usa was proactive and replaced the utilities under and then replaced from scratch. Now all over the usa they do mickey mouse repairs so we have asphalt moguls and concrete ski jumps for bridge joints....ill be glad when we can get our stuff in gear again!
I had a 1990 and it was one of the greatest vehicles I've ever owned. Had well over 300k before the motor locked up. These trucks are built like tanks and the space is awesome. Your wife is right that rear seat is like a living room. Love that truck and definitely can't wait till I'm able to buy another one.
I’m currently watching Jen’s channel on this same road trip..Im a happy camper i could watch these all day . I recently had ankle surgery can’t walk for 3 months the joy of watching little Gus 🐶man this channel is top fav on RUclips
I've been binge watching all the videos on your channel. You are a good mechanic on all levels. Got that big time know how to do everything energy lol And not to mention Mrs NNKH is awesome too! She always seems excited to go on whatever adventure you got going on and never seems to complain. Seems very supportive of you as a person. Got yourself a keeper there! Anyways love the videos man. I've learned so much from your videos. Keep it up my guy! 🤜🏻🤛🏾
I love your channel. I like the format and how natural it all is, not fake and staged. Also Gus man and Jen are great additions. Mostly tho, I love the long trips where you just go buy something and hope to get it home 🤣
I am your follower from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You are very wonderful and your content is very important for those interested in American cars. I wish you success
Chris Jen thanks for taking me along for the ride another awesome video. You two are so down to earth. Stopping to help people in need. The world would be a better place if There were more people like you. Glad you guys made it home Safe and sound can't wait for the next one.
Everyone else is saying how much they enjoyed this presentation and I have to join them. Your videos are a notch above anyone else's. We get to see the flyover states and parts of the USA that folks never get to see. I loved your previous coming across the states video with the station wagon, and now this one. Definitely top shelf entertainment. There is a fearless approach to the problems that come up - "Oh, it needs a new pinion seal - no problem, I'll do it with a rock." Not quite, but your fix-it attitude and "get 'er done" really comes through. The chemistry you all share, Jen, Chris, Gus & Turbo are all truly heart warming. Thank you SO much for these epic journeys - for bringing us along, sharing your experiences. Considering what could go wrong, the fact that you made it home demands respect from us viewers. Any time you want to upload a video, you've got a loyal following for sure! Thank you!
I like watching you and Jenn travel across America in these fixer upper cars, along the way your fixing whatever needs attention, your videos are awsome.
Love the travel video with a dash and a sprinkle of mechanical knowledge in between. Love how no mechanical issue can stop you no matter where you are.
The way you incorporate your aerial video along with the rest makes it look like a movie you guys are the bomb very interesting .You can't turn it off because you want to see what's around the next bend😊
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. I absolutely LOVE these road trip videos. Keep ‘em coming! Edit; where were you guys when you first hit the snow??
Really enjoyed this. Kind of my "Friday Night at the Movies." Love the train footage. Years ago, I commuted to work along back roads that paralleled train tracks. I loved when I was pedaling along next to the train. Something great about that feeling. And the NNKH teams rescues the horse trailer ladies. And wonderful footage of the landscape. Thanks.
This video is more an experience than something to watch. Its also really nice to have a spouse that will share a beer with you at the end of the day. Top notch and 80s music to boot!
Dude you two are killing it with these videos, great content. Love the local exploration. I don't know if it is you or Jen on the drone work but that is really nice content! Looking forward to the next one.
I had a 1991 Suburban 4x4 with a 350 and TBI that I used for adventure camping while in Utah. The vehicle never let me down and had almost 200,000 miles on it, got 19.2 mpg on flat interstate. It was so dependable that I never had an oil leak, never had a valve cover or the oil pan off. Had it all over the west and slept in the back all the time (no tent just a canopy for rainy days).
Your one of the best on here driving cars and trucks around your pretty much the only guy doing it besides one other l know of so your vids are fun and thank you and your wife she is very cool not many woman would tag along with her husband. Please keep up the great work.
Thanks to you, A jen and Gus for sharing a little bit of your amazing lives with us! You are one of my favorite RUclipsrs, and boy am I counting them with one hand. What is done with love, remains as good as your videos and your vehicles. Keep it up, friend! Do not change!
My girlfriend surprised me with a NNKH shirt and beanie the other day. My doggy found the sticker inside the beanie and pulled it out. Put it on my truck window. Thank you guys! Have fun🤟🤟🤟
I think the Fury was one of the first videos I watched. I’m an Aussie bloke and I must admit that I do enjoy the road trip style videos. I appreciate the tours of the old towns. It must take yonks to edit this style of video. Thanks mate 🇦🇺🤙🏼
Your channel has rapidly became one of my favorites. You are a down to earth guy, Gus makes me smile. You are doing things right with this channel, keep it up buddy.
Hi from the uk. I have started watching your channel and i am addicted. Loving the will it run and the road trips! Also just want to say you have an awesome workshop, thats how i would have mine (if my wife would let me) thanks for taking us along with you 👍 can't wait for more vids keep them coming
These long multi-part video series are so cool! Its like the viewer is on the trip with y'all! Keep it up, you Jen and Gus are a great trio, and Tubro holding the fort down back home HA! Oh yeah... FURYOUS !!!!
Thanks to all @ NNKH. Sure smiled all the way through this one. Thanks to Gustav as well. The mix of your content is your appeal. Well done you guys! Also Not to forget the use of the hair tie to fix the rattling cap. Just one of countless fixes you do and the help you gave to people along the way ? Just pure decent!
A big “Mahalo nui loa!” to you three for taking me along on your road trip! Road-trips make me miss the mainland and all the lovely trips I took out there. So happy you see you all are safely and happily home. Aloha!
Completely agree. Having done this myself 20 years ago, I’d much rather watch other people do it these days. Unless you’ve been there yourself, you can’t understand the feeling of dread when things go wrong, and you’re stranded so far from home. It is so stressful. I took over a week to bring a car home 1200km (approx 730 miles). It had been parked for nearly 10 years. The seller put new tyres on it (at my cost) and had the oil changed. He also had a mechanical check to get a 4 week permit, so I could drive it home without registration. Told me it was all good, and ran great, But he’d only driven it a few miles at a time. Not long enough to uncover the issues that were ready to bite me. Within the first 15 minutes it began overheating. I don’t know how many times I flushed the cooling system, and even pulled the thermostat, just to keep the needle just under the red. I spent ages adjusting the ignition timing in the hope that would help, but it didn’t….. on the last day before home we had to stop every 30km or so to refill the water that was being ejected out the overflow as steam. It also developed numerous electrical & fuel issues. I blew heater & radiator hoses several times. Fortunately my wife followed in the daily driver, so I had a “parts runner” on call. She complained about spots on the windscreen that smeared with the wipers. I checked the oil at the next stop…. Had to add 3 litres (a bit over 3 quarts). Each time I stopped for fuel I had to add 3 litres….. Many times I had people tell me I should have trailered it, or paid a shipping company. At one point 500km from home I nearly gave up, and started making plans to store it in a safe area to come back with the trailer, but couldn’t get anywhere I was comfortable with, so we pressed on. Once I made it home I realised how much we achieved, and how it was so worth it to do that trip. I restored it over 3 years, and reminisced so many times about that drive home. I’m a different person because of it.
This is probably the most down to earth channel yet. Love the content and the knowledge you teach out about quick easy fixes. Awesome job! Looking forward to see what’s up next. 🤙🏻
I must say. It is hard to find original content on youtube. Everyone is doing the same thing. But you two are doing something much different. I love the drone footage. You have an eye for the sky and what looks good from an Arial view. Those mountains were breathtaking. BTW I grew up in a 1975 suburban. Love your videos. Keep'em coming.
I love that you immediately utilize the vehicles you get, including the bass dumpster boat. Great high stakes nature of this trip, really brings a survival element to the videos. Nevada desert is no joke!
Absolutely love your road trip videos! Everyone should do this! I finally was able to last year. Drove my 81 Turbo Trans Am from Idaho to Wisconsin and back last July. Open road, tunes and not a care in the world!
Chris you're a really good narrator. I never get bored with your observations and your on the the fly fix it repairs. It's a great country we live in, innit? And if Jen and Gus weren't in these videos they'd lose so much lustre. Anyway, good video - keep "em coming!
For the longest time Ive wanted to fly out, fix a vehicle, and drive it home. Ive done it with plenty of already running vehicles but to do it with a nonrunning vehicle is just a whole nother adventure. Some day soon I hope! Love the videos! Keep them coming!
Thanks everyone so much for checking out the video! So far this one has really hi-view time which helps out the channel big-time! As mentioned at the end of the video NNKH hats now available here: www.nononsenseknowhow.com/product/nnkh-black-embroidered-hat-two-options/
Glad this video is doing well. I enjoy all your stuff but the travel ones are some of my favorites.
Your videos and experiences are highly addictive. I always look forward to them so I can sit back and enjoy the ride as well as your expertise on auto mechanics.

The ladies on the side of the road don't even know that they were helped by one of the best mechanics in the Nation. Great job!
Chris is the Lone Ranger of auto mechanics. Love that they stop to help people.
Me too. I love the traveling mixed in with the repairs on the road. Chris has a great thing going. And Jen n Gus are super cool.
I couldnt agree more.
Don’t forget turbskis
@@natarem Turbo is probably the only cat I've ever seen in my life that would tolerate a little dog like Gus. Props to Turbo.
Mine as well. 😊

Persistence and patience. Works every time.
Thanks for showing me parts of the country that I probably will never get to see...
I think the Fury was one of the first videos I watched. I’m an Aussie bloke and I must admit that I do enjoy the road trip style videos. I appreciate the tours of the old towns. It must take yonks to edit this style of video. Thanks mate 🇦🇺🤙🏼
Dad had a 1978 Suburban back in the day. 350 with a 4-barrel carb, two-tone blue paint. This brings back some memories for sure.
Love this channel and how you guys live life!! Jen is the epitome of Fit, Feminine, and Friendly!! Keep kicking ass!! Timmy C Arizona
Great trip thanks for taking us along.
Your channel has rapidly became one of my favorites. You are a down to earth guy, Gus makes me smile. You are doing things right with this channel, keep it up buddy.
I look forward to NNKH videos more than any other youtuber that I follow. They are that good.
Excellent!! I'm a new boy a Brit living in Poland, nice to see the different landscapes as you travel.
Dude I love you and Jennifer, you 2 are great great people . Your videos are great both of your channels and Jens are the best
Again you knocked it out of the park, I love long trains as well, abandoned gas stations, thanks again for posting.....

In this video you have achieved a good blend of auto repair and travelogue. I really enjoyed watching your exploits around the country.
These long multi-part video series are so cool! Its like the viewer is on the trip with y'all! Keep it up, you Jen and Gus are a great trio, and Tubro holding the fort down back home HA!
Oh yeah... FURYOUS !!!!
Man, that old highway and tunnel were frickin awesome!! I'm going to Google Earth that and look around. Love old road stuff!!
Aloha!
Man, driving sketchy cars ANY distance is the most stress-inducing thing to me. Respect.
We love going on these trips with you, Jen, and Gus, it's always a good time, and, you are a good Teacher of auto mechanics..
This is probably the most down to earth channel yet. Love the content and the knowledge you teach out about quick easy fixes. Awesome job! Looking forward to see what’s up next. 🤙🏻
we need more people like you im glad you stopped and helped those people especially with horses in the heat thks for being you
Awesome journey as always - I love it when you work on the older GM classics and save them from the scrapyard. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the flyovers with the drone. I love trains too. Blessings y’all.
As always, thanks for taking us along on your adventures! You invest lots of time and effort into these, and it is appreciated!!
🗿👍 yep
Chris you're a really good narrator. I never get bored with your observations and your on the the fly fix it repairs. It's a great country we live in, innit? And if Jen and Gus weren't in these videos they'd lose so much lustre. Anyway, good video - keep "em coming!
Appreciate your heart of approval. Got a hat just now - spreadin' the word.
Love these road trip videos Chris. Obviously it's not financially viable to do it regularly but thanks for sharing!
For the longest time Ive wanted to fly out, fix a vehicle, and drive it home. Ive done it with plenty of already running vehicles but to do it with a nonrunning vehicle is just a whole nother adventure. Some day soon I hope! Love the videos! Keep them coming!
