Old school garage. The memories alone are worth the price. Tools you’ll never see again. The smell of an old garage is better than the smell of Thanksgiving.
Chris - you're 1 in a million. Very few people would have the time or skill to go through a huge mess like this and make it look great while doing it systematically and sympathetically. Even the mouse appreciates your kindness.

You're spot on Chris; the original owner would be proud of what you're doing to his shop and utilizing all those useful materials and items. Love this video! Peace to you and your new family!

Such a KILLER video. It’s insane how we, ( the USA ) used to not only make everything, we also made some of the best stuff on this planet. It’s actually sad to see how cool we were.
That small snatch block you found goes to the Lug-All hoist that you have hanging on the rack by the scrap metal, used for two part pulling. Excellent video, looks like alot of fun.

Bloody great video Again Chris . What real man doesn't love a old truckers workshop full of garage gold . And you don't need to apologise for how you do your videos, we love everything you do 😊
Looks like Chris heaven to me! Glad you found it. I’m an old truck driver that still has a Galaxy DX 99V. it’s been an all 48 states and it was one of the best radios I ever owned and still is. Sure was good to see Jen and the baby. I can’t wait for her next video. Happy trails. 👍🏼

cool find! $1800 bargain! that was a working garage. so much stuff that looks like junk but isn't! Lots of cleaning to do, but plenty to sell if you already have it. WONDERFUL WORKING SPACE. Congrats!
I’ve just start watching the video but I’ll tell you this you have thousands and thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment in that garage and the best part it’s all probably American made….
Your local library would love to have all those books and how-to manuals for their book sale. Lotta good stuff there that I coulda used back in the day. But, I'm 83 now and that ship has sailed. Enjoy and blessings.
Maybe. Some local libraries are tight on space and only want more recent books but if they scan / digitize books you may be lucky. That the problem nowadays, people are too lazy / or it's to hard and a lot of this type of thing is just tossed. Sad really.
We have I beams similar at work and I’ve pulled firetruck cabs and box truck bodies off with chain hoists from the late 1800s. I would keep it up, they come in handy and I guarantee that old feller lifted much more than 500lbs on that.
This is my dream right here! Nice score on that Snap-on box, too. As a diesel mechanic I loved seeing all the old truck stuff pop up in that garage like the transmission jack. Can't wait to see what this place ends up looking like!
Chris, Just wanted to send a big thank you for providing productive content that I really enjoy. Me and my two sons are big gear heads and we sit down and watch every episode together as a family and really enjoy everything you and Jen put out there. It’s so relatable to our lives as well. In this video specifically, going through all of that stuff may look like junk to most people on here but you seem to turn it around into a little cash in your pocket and extra inventory for your own purpose. We are big fans from over here just north of Columbus Ohio and wanted to personally thanks for everything you do! Fun and inspiration 👊🏻
Hey man, when you talked about being really into it, I connected with you, something you enjoy is your hobby. I couldn't afford to have any real muscle car so I built models. I'm 57 years old I've been doing models on and off since I was 8 years old. I have over 315 built and they're all under glass. I'll take a break for a year or two and get right back into it for 3-4 years and then take another break. I'm 57 years old and I am disabled for the last 5 years. I think I've built at least 60 models in those 5 years. Enjoy your hobby man! I look forward to each video when it comes out. You truly have a nice life going for you bud. Take care
There is not one video you have posted on any subject/theme or what-have-you that I do not like and this is no exception, fun and interesting as always!
Thank you guys for selling it to him he'll make use of the items I'm sure that your relative would be proud to know that it's going on to somebody that cares about the items instead of just wants to junk them it's hard to watch things being thrown away that somebody works very hard to collect
I went through this 2 years ago. Sept of 22 I started clearing out my father's shop. His shop was about 50x120 and when I started it was just a path through it to the back.. there was a camper wedged in there as well. I couldn't even park a vehicle inside to begin with. Between the shop and the yard, It took me about a year and month to get it all cleaned up. Out of all of that stuff, sold the camper, sold some of the big tools etc and ended keeping a 20 foot enclosed trailer and a full size van worth of stuff.. Ended up hurting both shoulders from lifting too much too often :( I still have their double car garage/shop at the house to finish going through to. Unfortunately dad passed away about 4 months into me cleaning up the shop. In a way though it did give me more freedom to toss stuff that I know he would have fought me on. I wish you luck, just take your time and don't hurt yourself!

I totally understand you on buying that whole lot, I would be thrill to get myself some deal like this one! Wouldn´t mind to spend a couple of months digging trought the whole pile of stuff!
I understand how one can think it’s junk and another man can think it’s treasure! My dad passed away 2 years ago and was a mechanic for 25 years and now I’m left to figure out his tool boxes. I have no idea what is what in them. I know a little about tools but not a lot. I guess google is going to be my friend!
I have to say to you! Incredible work you do. I have been on this planet for almost 74 years , you are one hard working gent. Once I saw your baby girl , I melted . You are so fortunate to have a child that is perfect. This is what North America is about . I love your videos and watch& learn. Great channel for a great USA family 🇨🇦🇬🇧🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I would be in HEAVEN.!!! I spent the better part of 2 years sorting my late father in laws basement when he passed. It was emotional but so satisfying to see what “trinkets” he had. Nice find Chris!!👍👍 “Why are you keeping nails?” I sold a 5lb pail of bent nails from my FIN’s collection. Asked the guy…”why would you by them”? His reply; “when the wife gets on my ass, I’ll go to the shed and straighten them!!” Hahahaha
Man I got sooo excited when I seen the title. I thought you were selling the contents for 1800. I immediately tried to find out how to contact you.. Super great find. I love digging into stuff like this. Chris this is top3 video from you.
That's great a bigger shop is also good . Chris watch video at around 0:49 to 0:53 you see mouse run under red tool box on your right side in video . Time to set traps or shop cat . Those mice be in your projects chewing wires. Good luck with new shop
That place is a tweekers paradise! Nice job cleaning and organizing. Not everyone could have gone through everything like you did. I'm sure the old owner is looking down with appreciation and gratitude for not just throwing all his stuff away.
Your right man some people may look at that as a stupid purchase. Those people would be dummy's. That was an excellent purchase brother. I'm 34 an this is exactly how my brother an I built up our hardware supply. I ALWAYS tell younger guys especially fellas in their 20s that are just starting out in life, be on the lookout for Garage & Estate sales. There is zero better way to build up your tool & hardware supply. We got super lucky a few times. One Estate sale we struck gold on was an estate sale of a lifelong mechanic & carpenter. This great guy was 90 when he passed. He had everything. From hand tools to bandsaws and router tables. We bought almost everything. The amount of nails, screws, nuts & bolts that we bought was literally worth the whole entire purchase. The man had a better selection than a local Ace Hardware or even Menards. Seriously any fellas in their early 20s, this is a guys life hack here fellas. It's addictive too. Especially in an estate sale where you're buying these items because a man passed away. You get to hear the man's life story. His hopes n dreams an you get to give new life to the tools he held dear and used on a regular basis. You can get great deals if you bond a little bit with the family. Ask questions! Be interested! When the grieving family sees that you're actually interested in more than a great deal, that you're going to honor these tools and hold them close, they're more likely to offer you better deals and lump purchases at a discount. Just seriously remember to be kind an approachable. Be curious, ask questions if their not too emotionally distraught. Get to know the loved one they just lost. Maybe you'll find yourself in a jam working on something, glance down at the wrench you got from an estate sale an get an inspiration how you can solve the issue. Could just be that fella watching over ya, sharing some wisdom one last time to a friend he never met.
It was nice to see Jen and your little nugget they seem to be doing great glad to see them make an appearance. Also as far as this garage goes I've got to say you killed it on this one. All that good stuff that you will end up doing something with is almost priceless especially getting a workshop out of the deal too. It's a win for NNKH.
This is giving off a Cole The Corn Star vibe… been watching that kid clean out his Grampa’s old farm in Iowa. The Grampa was an old school collector and this kids Cole has systematically transformed this mess of an estate to a beautiful property. If you haven’t watched him give him a look. Love your content Brother. Good luck.
Hi Chris, this place is a time capsule for sure. I admire your spirit because I know you will make this place shine. The price for everything is a drop in the bucket when you start to see all the great things underneath all the crap. Congrats on your new bundle of joy, thanks for all the great video's.

We should meet for drinks!
@ lol I live in Tennessee!!
Another great video ahead... let's get it !!!
Shop full of old school tools / hardware / misc. parts ...welcome to heaven 🙏
At 12:10 that’s a nice bridge clamp. So many uses for them and the gripping ability is amazing
I always admired your organizational skills in your current shop. I hope you'll post how this comes along
One man's junk is another man's treasure... you, my friend, have a treasure trove!

Going through that much, I would have a difficult time deciding what to keep.

I would be in HEAVEN.!!!
I spent the better part of 2 years sorting my late father in laws basement when he passed.
It was emotional but so satisfying to see what “trinkets” he had.
Nice find Chris!!👍👍
“Why are you keeping nails?”
I sold a 5lb pail of bent nails from my FIN’s collection.
Asked the guy…”why would you by them”? His reply; “when the wife gets on my ass, I’ll go to the shed and straighten them!!”
Hahahaha
You did sooo much organizing! It looks amazing and I had fun watching this video. I can’t wait for an update!

That place is a tweekers paradise! Nice job cleaning and organizing. Not everyone could have gone through everything like you did. I'm sure the old owner is looking down with appreciation and gratitude for not just throwing all his stuff away.
The drill doctor works great
Awww! Little Autumn is beautiful!!!
That small camp stove was probably a 530 coleman GI stove for the military. About 75-150 on ebay.
That dx99v radio is worth at least a couple hundred bucks
Thanks I'll have to try it out and see if it works
This is giving off a Cole The Corn Star vibe… been watching that kid clean out his Grampa’s old farm in Iowa. The Grampa was an old school collector and this kids Cole has systematically transformed this mess of an estate to a beautiful property. If you haven’t watched him give him a look. Love your content Brother. Good luck.
Hopefully Chris won't decided to put in an underground movie theater next to it.
I am aware of his new project but slowed down on watching everything he puts out
Timelapse of cleaning it out would be very cool but a lot of work perhaps
Hi Chris, this place is a time capsule for sure. I admire your spirit because I know you will make this place shine. The price for everything is a drop in the bucket when you start to see all the great things underneath all the crap. Congrats on your new bundle of joy, thanks for all the great video's.
My husband and I enjoy your videos you speak clear and explain very well, I love it when you show Gus and Jen also your Beautiful daughter. Aloha from my Ohana to your Ohana (family)Happy Thanksgiving
