I live in South Florida and when I was told that Jacksonville has a homicide rate higher than Miami comes to no surprise!
JSO is so crooked its unreal. They couldn't solve a crime if happened right in front of them.
Then why don't you join or raise your children to be better cops?

I am one of the people that constantly got stopped with nothing criminal every time so they made up traffic infractions to justify the unconstitutional stop and tax the poor like the pirates they were !
I'm Black live on the west side of chicago and been stopped..this has never happend to me or anyone i know..I do know some that acted a fool and went to jail and ones who didn't pay there tickets..I'm not saying its you.but there's a whole bunch out there that think if they don't go to court and pay there fines it will all go away..

I’m from St. Louis so moving here in just use to it and no where will ever be as rough at STL. Every city has crime some are worst. Jax is nice to me.
Same for me to from milwaukee next to Chicago we surpassed Chicago in homicides it's not that bad here. I haven't herd gunshots or seen anyone get killed next to me so far so good. But every city has violence especially when jobs are not hiring certain groups of people and paying wages that don't match the cost of living. What you can do is to go to law school while working in an internship as a police patrol officer.
Right now you can also sit down and speak with the homicide detectives, medical examiners, and attorneys to listen to and learn from them.

Good job, however this is a totally different side of law enforcement. They need to focus on traffic stops, people approached that where just standing on a public sidewalk, or just standing in their yard and end of shot dead! These are the type issues that need to be address not the people we know for a fact is breaking the law! The inside look need to focus on how are innocent people or unarmed people end up shot! Who escaladed the situation?? To where a gun need to be pulled out! See this don't addressed the issue or show how they are dealing with possible co operating citizens.

Gangs are an easy solution but criminal sympathizers won't let it happen:
Any gang that has been involved with at least one felony conviction are declared a terrorist organization. Simply being in the gang is a felony charge. The gang members are locked up indefinitely on a civil commitment until they agree to identify other gang members and also denounce their gang. At that point they can be released but if they never do so they are in for life. If the person gets out and commits another felony they are put to death.
Society would be a much better place if this is how we treated criminals
But then lower gang members or new ones will takeover the turf just like ISIS took over Al Queada remains

The cops tried to get myself and my family kicked out of our home when we were the victims of multiple violent crimes by calling thy landlord and switching the story around so the land lord would believe we are the bad guys. 👎 bad move and thank God it didn't work ! Knowing that it's hard to believe that story about going around to people that suspected committed violent crimes to give them anything like a way out of the criminal underworld. 🤨
