      I don’t really get it, being a musician the best gigs I’ve ever had have been the smaller ones with 2000 people, the minute you get something like this you can barely see the people performing and you probably paid an arm and a leg for the ticket. I feel like I’m missing something, I’ve seen videos of the performance and it honestly looks like a nightmare.

I wonder if the lighting (all LED I suspect) will change from the blue to something else depending on the shows/time of year or holidays. Who the hell even thinks up something like this. Thank you! You have about as good of seats as you can possibly have in that venue, so you're going to have an amazing experience. For perspective, I was one section to the right of the middle of the 400 level (when you're facing the stage). You will be mirrored to that, one section left of the 400 level, but 8 rows closer. I loved my seats, the only tweak I would've made is being just slightly closer to have just a little more screen behind me. You'll have near-perfect seats cause you'll be 8 rows closer.

      @@ATalkingBadger I’ve seen other people say that but Waters & Gilmour are beyond wealthy on their own now, as is Nick Mason, so they aren’t going to do anything together. Which leaves only David & Nick, as Richard Wright died years ago. And having only Two original members is not really Pink Floyd. Plus, they’re 79 & 80, so I’m pretty sure they’re done playing at this point in their lives. Roger is 80 also, and apparently still loves playing Live, and he’s made hundreds of millions on his past few tours. He could easily do 20-30 shows here if he wanted.

    • @davebowers8631
      @davebowers8631 Год назад +1

      That's exactly what I was thinking. The Pink Floyd ship sailed long ago but Roger is still touring at 80! Saw him 4 times in 2022 and he always has some of the most hi-tech and innovative ways to display multimedia visuals and sound. This place would be ideal. But. He's 80.
      Anyway I'm sure U2 will rise to the occasion as they are also touring pioneers!
      Cheers!

It says in their documentation half of the seats, about 10,000 can have haptic technology, when you can feel and touch through goggles Im guess. The seats that don't have it are down in the 100 level, since those seats can move in or out depending on the event. U2 unfortunately didn't use any of the 4D technology. That was disappointing.

    I wonder how much you can shrink the sphere to keep the same experience for less upfront costs. Maybe have multiple smaller ones for more dense cities. I think you can clear some floors of a skyscraper and construct inner spheres for multiple shows. At this size, I can only see it being built in large cities that have the space for these. But if you can buy some floors of a skyscraper or a whole warehouse then I can see these popping up everywhere. Could completely omit the outer sphere to lower costs as well as get rid of current residences fears of light pollution.

      If you were lucky and won the lottery to buy face-value tickets through Ticketmaster, they started at $140 for 400-level seats...I wasn't so lucky, so they were $310 each after fees.

      They had a variety of food concessions. I wish I spent more time looking at the menu, but I was turned off when I saw $11 for fries. My friend and I ended up splitting a basket of fries. Ended up a decent snack for $5.50 each, but still very overpriced. They definitely weren't aiming for an affordable night out in their $2.3 Billion venue.

These seem to have no flat moments to break up the stairs. I can't imagine someone getting pushed or shoved or bumped by drunk or drugged out people or people trying to dance in their seats. Gonna be a lot of people who fall down every show.
