Wonderful, the capacity of human ingenuity to retreat into a fantasy world when everything is actually falling apart around their ears, having said that, it's a very impressive project.
I don’t really get it, being a musician the best gigs I’ve ever had have been the smaller ones with 2000 people, the minute you get something like this you can barely see the people performing and you probably paid an arm and a leg for the ticket. I feel like I’m missing something, I’ve seen videos of the performance and it honestly looks like a nightmare.

Thank you! You have about as good of seats as you can possibly have in that venue, so you're going to have an amazing experience. For perspective, I was one section to the right of the middle of the 400 level (when you're facing the stage). You will be mirrored to that, one section left of the 400 level, but 8 rows closer. I loved my seats, the only tweak I would've made is being just slightly closer to have just a little more screen behind me. You'll have near-perfect seats cause you'll be 8 rows closer.
The wife and I were in Vegas just a month ago and construction was still happening on this. Thanks for the video. Can't wait to go see it in person next time we go back
The camera makes it seem further since I was using a wide-angle lens for most of this video. Still pretty far away, but it was like being at the back of an arena for a concert.
I feel like the birth of this idea comes from Oregon Museum of Science and Industry's "Empirical Theater" which is a 360° view movie theater inside of a sphere. It's pretty cool, a very long time ago i remember they had Halo tournaments in that theater!
I'd love to see an interview with the person that project managed this build! This is a new amazing wonder of the world! Looks like a spaceship! Thank you for sharing! What's the visual sweet spot seating area in this place?
Definitely the center of the 400 level. If I Could choose any seat in the house, it would be Row 1 of the center section of the 400-level. I ended up about 1 section over from there, Row 13, so not too far off from the perfect visual experience.
Wow amazing you yanks are so lucky. I'm so jealous stuck here in my cold wet third world country called not so great britain wish I was there seeing the fabulous U2
Let's hope that we can keep the idiots out of there and nothing gets broken. The one thing they missed was illuminating the row numbers, then also before you enter the stairwell, indicate which # starts the row.
They had the seats that were in each section, so when it'd say something like "407 Seats 16-32, 408 Seats 1-15", you knew that left side of stairwell (walking down) would be section 407 seat 32 and right side would be section 408 seat 1.
I was thinking the same thing. If only Dolan & Azoff could convince Pink Floyd to do a reunion residency (even though it'd be sad to not see Syd and Richard there).
@@ATalkingBadger I’ve seen other people say that but Waters & Gilmour are beyond wealthy on their own now, as is Nick Mason, so they aren’t going to do anything together. Which leaves only David & Nick, as Richard Wright died years ago. And having only Two original members is not really Pink Floyd. Plus, they’re 79 & 80, so I’m pretty sure they’re done playing at this point in their lives. Roger is 80 also, and apparently still loves playing Live, and he’s made hundreds of millions on his past few tours. He could easily do 20-30 shows here if he wanted.
That's exactly what I was thinking. The Pink Floyd ship sailed long ago but Roger is still touring at 80! Ya you'd be able to feel touch in the seats (which wouldn't work at a U2 show since you have to stand for the vast majority of it). The seats that don't have it are down in the 100 level, since those seats can move in or out depending on the event. U2 unfortunately didn't use any of the 4D technology. That was disappointing.
