I'll be happy to give a donation. Is there any way to enjoy the video without the "VETRI" logo embedded in the clip itself. Some of the audience-shot clips from this excellent video are elsewhere on RUclips...and they DON'T have the "Vetri" embedded in the film itself.
The VETRI will always be there just because that's MY edition ;). I did not just pressed a button of a camera. I spent hours on this for no money. So at least what I can do is to value my own work.@@eaaivazian
The contrast between the origiginal 92' Zoo TV era where the band had the screens and thevaudiences full focus and now 30 years later when the audience has the little screens and are only half focussed on whats happening in front of them is both frightening and I think also quite sad .
Ya that shot at 3:07. Very sad. Although I have been going to concerts since the '90s and I do record clips on my phone at every show. It's nice to have snippets 1-2 minutes long of the concert and you can relive it whenever you want. But ya if you're there recording the whole show, don't bother going. You're not taking it in and neither will you remember how it actually felt if you didn't have your phone in front of you the whole time because part of your attention and worry is on the phone making sure you're framing is right.
The Sphere is obviously amazing, but even 30+ years later, nothing surpasses the Zoo TV tour as an insane multimedia art experience. It's the one concert experience that's stuck in my mind ever since
Achtung Baby was their peak LP. Just like Revolver for the Beatles in '66. Saw them 06.10.83 on up thru 2001...Can't wait to getting around to seeing them in the Sphere!
I remember when I saw this show on October 11, the sound was amazing! When Edge launches into the chorus-filled second guitar line- it was the loudest, most piercing sound I'd ever heard. Magic.
That haunting "I could have lost you" intro has always been such an underappreciated moment in U2 history. Just walk on stage and begin the electric madness of Zoo without an instrument and sing in sean nos. Beautiful in the 90s. Glad he went back to it. All Zoo openings were sublime, this simple quiet step out was one of them. Whatever was inspiring them through the 90s, it certainly worked a charm on the music, the choreography of concerts and had a surreal, otherworldly effect on fans.
I love it when someone articulates clearly something like what you just said, finally putting into words impressions that I haven't been able to yet. With this video, I am able to relive somewhat the amazing opening night that I was present for and remember the sense of awe. Now eagerly anticipating a return in Feb and March 2024 and afterward, I will probably come back to your interpretation of this video to relive this part! It hits in new ways each time!
For a second I thought I was reading an old comment of mine. lol. You can't (well, actually, you for one I know could) imagine how gobsmacked happy I was to hear them pull this unique pre-intro intro out of the closet. I don't think they did it on that many performances for the original tour (of course someone will point out that I am wrong, lol) . It just points out how incredibly hard they worked on bringing this complete Album revisit back to life. - I can hear that 'I could have lost you' a zillion times and it would be just as effective. It was chilling to hear it in person. (I was lucky enough to go opening night and again in May.). And to then to have him reach down to pick up The Fly glasses off the stage, how he does it, and what it does to him....we're going on a huge adventure people. Hang on....
Of course you were - along with the other 1 million people who've said they were there - but wait, what's the capacity again? Sorry, no, everyone says they were there, but not everybody was unfortunately (for you).

There’s something about youth isn’t there?1991, god what a great year and a great decade. Soon as that decade ended it was sad because you knew a great time and era was over, and it was never coming back.

Getting them just reading your comment. I missed the original 92 tour, but memorized the Zoo TV VHS. The room was completely electric when he began his vocals before the drum kicks in.
Hello Paulo! Bravo! You created again an amazing video from multicam records! I've watched it at least 10 times so far. I like the parallel with the Sydney notches! :) I hope you make videos like this for all the other songs from yesterday evening. Can't wait your next work. Ciao!
Only watched the first 2 minutes as we want to experience it when we see them live and in-person on October 11, 2023! We're so excited - we know it will be epic. Thank you for sharing :-)
Thirty years on, still the best opening to any gig. Not many advantages to being old but I'm glad I paid £25 to see Zooropa at Wembley in 1993 rather than many times more to see a load of phones. Band still kills it.
What’s one more media? Who cares what anybody else does Friendo! 😊 Uh-oh, I just added at least 2-3 other medias. And the dimensions of space and time. What now Fuzzy Britches? Happy New Year! 2024 will ring in more medias than we can even imagine all the way back here in 2023!

Love this! Sound and visuals are so great in this place. (With that great wall cracking effect in the background, you really don't need to cut in old Zoo footage at the best part, but still amazing footage)
I went last December and again in February. The visuals were awesome upstairs (we were in the 200s). You can’t beat being on the floor though. I never walked so fast in my life to get the rail towards the center. Amazing!! 🎉

You know, I saw them in the early 90's at the height of their ZooTV tour play this tune. What an experience. I have not been to a live gig in years, but I remember each one we are able to live in the moment and get the full experience. These days when you watch live clips from concerts online, all we see are thousands of people watching on a 6.7" screen. It's a real shame. Thankfully I go my kicks way before all of this.
The way those vault doors open is a simple effect but on a normal concert sized screen it wouldn’t be anything near as impactful. Like the whole room is illuminated. Very good visual design
Floor seats, by the stage opening night with no preview of what's to come was one of the highlights of my life. It felt like anything could happen. Part of the screen show feel flat (I don't blame the band but the venue) but I was there for both. 8.5 out of 10 was not to shabby the crowd made up for the rest.

I so wish for the full version of this U2 concert! This is exhilarating!
Still think Zoo Station is the best opening to any gig wherever they play it.
Absolutely!!!
Spot on. The opening drums and the groaning guitar riff is perfect.
All I remember was repeating OMG over and over when that screen cracked.
What about discoque?
You mean ZOO TV
Achtung Baby is still monumentally good... isn't it?
Yes. Yes, it is.
💯
In a year of landmark albums it still stands out. Just look at what came out in 1991. An insanely good year for music
So many memories!! 1993 in Germany/Dortmund/Westfalenhalle/
One of the best music albums of all times. Simple as that
