the price on these indonesia-made guitars seems really excessive. i'm curious about how a price of 2300€ is justified when you could buy a schecter with the same pickups and a floyd rose trem for ca. 1400€. no hate though, i'm just curious.

Tone woods and overall build quality - chambered design. I've owned 4 high end schecters - diamond series - and the Strandberg NX boden 7. I can say with certainty the strandberg is the best feeling and playing guitar I've ever owned. The ability to set them up so quickly and easily to your perfect spec alone is worth it. The innovative design behind them and materials used for the hardware, pricey but 100% worth it if you want a professional quality guitar.

What's the largest string gauge you can use on the 6 string Strandbergs?
Up to 0.74" will work fine. Above that, you'll need a string with a tapered winding at the ball end.

At the moment we are unable to offer the new hardware separately because of the limited production capability, but it might be possible in the future.
