I did all the steps 5 times. On the 5th time I went to bed and left my Apple Watch on charge overnight. The next morning I looked at it and it had gotten out of the boot loop and was showing full charge on the normal screen. I then re-paired it to my phone (this was how this issue began in the first place trying to un-pair / re-pair to fix a storage issue glitch) and it’s working perfectly again. Saved me the trip and $$ at Apple! Thank you

Did all five steps. Freezer method: left in there and forgot overnight, next morning it reboot and now functioning perfectly, not sure why it worked but thank you. Apple Genius Bar couldn’t do a thing except telling me to pay $200 for a new one. The problem with my watch arose when I swam in the Black Sea (low salt environment) for 25 minutes. No diving just surface swim

To the guy who made this…
I felt like I was going to cry and I did because I work so hard for my Apple Watch Series 6 44 screen and I had thought I had lost it. I search so many videos and non work except yours. When I had done the steps and it didn’t work I went to bed and woke up hopeless then I did the steps again and when I was spamming it and then I charge it I saw the main screen. So I give you a big internet hug and say to you have a good day.

Im here to state, that it does seem to work. I just kept doing some of this throughout the day, just in case it worked. And then suddenly it did. I was just kind of rocking it back and forth at the moment when I saw the apple logo stick for more than the 3 seconds it was doing before. It is not scientific enough to say what worked, but maybe movement or temperature made something inside the watch trigger, I was alternating between pressing the side button and both buttons. I would say, just keep going, and be positive.

Thank you so much for this. My AW7 have been stuck on the flashing apple logo for 1.5 week. Tried all of these steps 10-15 times. Left it in the freezer between 15 min and several hours. I believe it was the side button that was a bit stuck on one side. Tried several times with alcohol, water and pressing on it. First it gut un-stuck on one side. But now after pressing on the other side for 100 times and really hard it all of sudden started to work again. Insane but so happy!

PLEASE READ!! Advice to everyone having any issues with their Apple Watch. I experienced a similar problem with my stainless steel series 7, my warranty expired a week before this problem so I was very upset and I don’t have the Apple care coverage. My watched died and it wouldn’t not charge it would just show the red mark with the time. I tried to charge it for a entire day and nothing. I knew it wasn’t the charger because my husband’s watch was charging perfectly it was just mine that was not charging.I found this video y decided to try before going to the Apple Store and what happened was super weird. I tried all these steps 3 times I was willing to try 5 times until my husband told me that’s not going to work let’s just take it to the Apple store and see what happens, I took my watch out of the freezer for the 3rd time and I let it sit for a few minutes I tried to charge before going to the store hoping something would happen but no, so we headed to the store and after explaining to the tech she said ok let’s try to charge but if it doesn’t unfortunately the cost to sent to Apple is $390 I was so sad because I’m still paying on it and this watch costed me almost $900 :( so we put it on their charger and OMG was I about to die when the green logo shows as it was starting to charge!! After like 10 minutes of sitting their the Apple logo showed up and it was charging and was working perfectly SO IDK but I’m sure these steps helped out to get my watch back because I came back home and used my same charger and it was working. THANK U 🙏

For ANYONE who is having these issues (including the red exclamation mark) you have GOT GOT GOT GOT GOT GOT to be patient when trying to fix it. My apple watch had a black screen (nothing) for DAYS. Then, it went to having a black screen to having a black screen with exclamation point on it a few times per day. THEN, it went from that to an exclamation point screen on 24/7. Thats when I started doing the rebooting process. I had to reboot about 10 times on the charger and each time the apple logo would stay on longer and longer between reboots. Finally, I took it off and put the watch on my wrist and rebooted (hoping having skin contact would help) and it booted up after 2 tries. This whole process took me about 2.5 - 3 weeks to get it working. So happy it did because I was JUST about to bite the bullet and buy a new apple watch. If you want piece of mind moving forward, buy Apple Care+ so you just know you're covered no matter what.

I went to the Apple store today and they wanted me to wait for 3.5 hours for an appt. They called me back later and told me I need to mail it in for repair and it was gonna be $328. Declined, I would of been better off just getting a new one. Thanks for your video.

Thank you for this. I tried all the steps. At first my boot loop was not broken. But I read the positive comments and tried again the second day. I got to the tapping stage and I saw a flash that I had not seen before. I went to the next stage and the loop was broken. Possible caus: My watch went into a loop when I took it into hot spring water. For the record, I unpaired the watch from my phone and when my watch came back it had all the original information but was not connected to my iPhone. I then erased the data and then paired the phone and watch. Thanks again

Do not put your watch on freezer. I had a boot loop middle update and tried almost every steps but anything worked… i was hopeless and after buying a new one that is on the way. I did the last method that i was skeptical and i had reasons to because i do repair other eletronics and we know is not a good thing. After repeating the process of putting it on freezer for the last time i sat it on charger when working on computer i saw i was blinking the logo in red, sometimes green and it booted but always doing this and going of when i used any watch face that had some colors specialy gray. I just put it on wrist and the power on button wast working but it wouldnt bother me that much cause i use it mostly for exercise and i could live with it antil the new one arrives. A day after it started getting better less blinking and color shifting, second they i got worse and worse after sat it on the charger the screen never came back but the watch still functioning. Today i decided to disasembling it and the thing i was fearing is what happened. The concetors of the screen specially the one that brink image was covered on some parts with rust green. I suspect the process of freezing created this humidity that made this rusting and made the watch screen stop functioning . Conclusion i just cleaned the conector with isopropyl alcohol and i will place it and the i will tell you if it worked, same for the power button it got rust on conector thats why it stopped as well. Conclusion, i dont know if i was the freezer method that got i out of boot loop but i dont recomend. May be if i waited a little bit it would got out of it and worked again without loosing the screen and speending more money on a new one.
I repeat do not put it on freezer you would and up with more problems
