perfect video, thank you very much. Can i ask a question, Maybe somebody can answer to me? i have got a water damaged watch 6. it doesnt look bad, therefore i first tried to replace the battery. The watch started but became quite warm and restarted several times. could not charge the battery, 0 charge level was shown and screen went black. i checked the battery with multimeter and holds around 3.65v which means it did not suck it fully. Since that the screen remains black but the bottom of the body gets warm when i charge. the original battery shows 0v. What can be the reason that the screen shows nothing when the battery seems to be charged enough? thank you very much
Sounds like a short on the motherboard. Try taking the board out and look for corrosion. Use some isopropyl alcohol and a brush to clean if you find any and reinstall and try again
my apple watch se stuck into boot loop i have gone to some repairs person he tells me its a software issue but after that he said its a water damage what should i do
did you manage to get it to work again? I have the same issue and was told by apple that it was water damage and since it was out of warranty, it will cost me pretty much the same amount when I bought it. So it's advisable to just get a new one. 🙄
@@JMVisualThe same thing happened to me, I left it rice for a week and now it at least turns on but the touch screen only works in the upper right corner so I can’t use it… a new SE model is $299 and to send mine in for repair through Apple would be $229 he said! ugh I want to take it apart myself and see if I can fix it :(
How often do you find that something is irreparably damaged when fixing water damaged apple watches? Does a chip fry ever? Or is it usually just corrosion and simple swap parts (like batteries)?
sorry dude your links don't work. Also, when you are replacing the screen, do you remove the OCA before adding the LOCA? All the screens I have come across has OCA reapplied.
From 2023 My watch still turns on but its glitchy is that do to water damaged because its been working good with the water function on but now its glitchy after i forgot to turn the water function back on is it just the software or is is something else the crown wont work right

Thank you so much fore your answer!!! The bolts are so tiny. One the Y type had its head distorted and I am unable to take it out. What can be done?
