This scratched my brain perfectly. I’ve been doing quite well with discipline the last couple months but so many things just clicked in my head all at once and I feel so much more confident in all of the habits I’ve been building and how they’re going to pay off in the long run

Laziness is not a hard thing to fix, start with self care, shower, trim your hair, and after you clean yourself, smell how clean you are or feel how good it was to take care of yourself, plan a short walk, a favorite outdoor sport, or even some indoor activities can be better than sitting around doing nothing, I've been there, 17, depressed, no real support except tough love from family, it was a really dark place but sometimes instead of looking for the light at the end of the tunnel, light a fire and don't let it get extinguished
It takes the right habits and systems in your life, being dedicated to those habits and systems, not listening to your detracting thoughts. And sticking close to a community like this where you can continue to absorb good tips, reflect on progress, and ask questions freely. Share more of what you feel is standing in your way

I think that if you have the right goals in mind, and you truly believe in those goals, meaning those are the things you want to accomplish and there is meaning in them for you. Then if you work day by day, step by step, towards those goals, in the ways that we talk about in this channel, then you should be excited, you should see micro-progress, and if you stick with it, you should hit milestones. Yes, you will have moments of boredom. This is honestly your body+mind distracting you, pushing you from this change. You have to persevere, you must stay determined, and to have discipline. We're not doing this for fun, we are doing it to grow ourselves and our lives. Is this helpful?

If you get bored during the process it simply means you don't have enough motivation and you are not disciplined enough.
