I really enjoyed your Video and I totally understand your passion and excitement for this car. I own a 2007 LS460 with 293K miles on it. And every time I get into the car, I'm a happy person! Kudos a nice car!
Thank you brotha!! It makes me happy to see someone who loves this car as much as I do. It’s really rare but it’s a feeling you can’t explain. Thank you for watching!
Hey! I LOVED your video!! I, too, love the LS460! As of today, I have 262.093 miles on my 2008 LS460!! I also just finished a cross country trip from Northern CA to NY and the DMV area, drove back south through Memphis and Little Rock and then back to Northern CA (Bay Area). I put about 9400 miles in about 3.5 weeks on the car with NO ISSUES AT ALL!! This definitely a great road car!! If you find one that has been well maintained and you continue to take care of it, it will provide you with almost infinite service!! I will continue to take road trips in this car without any reservation!! Continue to enjoy your LS!!
Now THAT is badass to hear. Lexus needs to hire you for commercial work 🤝🔥 a true client testament to their work and time that they put into making the 460 a beast!!!
OMG the paint on your 16 year old looks better than my 2017 ... whatever you are doing to that paint it sure brings out the best sheen possible. I advise everybody in the market for Lexus you must MUST at least test drive an LS. I spent almost six months looking since my heart was set on owning a Lexus. I felt I owed it to myself to have the best (at least once in my life before I exist this mortal coil etc.) and had my heart set on an ES 350. The neighbor had one, in Cerulean blue, that I passed every night on my walks and it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen while still being one actually affordable by a mortal human. So when I finally started looking the used market I looked at thousands of them and test drove several but found I could not decide what to get! Then I saw the LS 460 and realized why my search had availed me nothing as this - THIS! work of art, was the car I had needed all along. May 2023 - $36,500 (the used car lot actually thought I forged a fake check to pay for it, which was funny and horrifying both at once). 2017 LS 460 in Eminent White Pearl - 69,500 miles... the 100 mile drive home was the happiest in my life. The love affair continues.
Thank you! The past owner took great care of it as well so that helped a lot. Also you are spot on with the advice. I drove mine 800 miles home, it was amazing. Drove like a dream
I had a 2008 LS600hL with the same color scheme . Your car reminded me of what a great car it was and mine had the auto shades for the rear, auto rear seats reclined, small fridge in back, controls in middle armrest for radio, air, seats. Oh ya a fold down screen in back. Not sure if those are even a thing now. Anyways nice car and video but makes me think I should have kept mine.
That’s badass!!! I wish I had the executive package. People just wanted too much money. I can see why you’d get rid of it tho no shame in it. I love this car and platform personally
Concur on the wheels fittment. If You are not into slaming the car as some regretfuly do, the 19" and up is a bolt on deal. No modification needed. I put 20" aftermarket chrome spoked that were on late model BMW, staggered to boot and they fit like glove. for centering ring I used PVC white fitting and it fits like glove also. This was needed to get from 60.1 hub size which is kinda odd ball, to BMW 72.0 something the wheels are. back rims are now 10" wide and the fronts are full 9" the 2008 460 base rides as a train on tracks. Keep the original factory ones for the winter time though.
I just replaced my 2007 LS460 rear air struts at 153K. Doing the fronts in a couple weeks. If anyone else is doing this job I’d recommend getting sway bar links before you start. I had to cut those suckers off because they seized up as I was taking them off and wouldn’t move another 1/32 turn!
I purchased a 2011 black LS 460 L 6 months ago. This car is beyond phenomenal it has 102,000 mi on it, me and my family absolutely love it. It is such a treat to drive. I have a tall plastic cabinet in my carport with all of the cars beauty products in it. I make sure it is freshly wiped down with detailer before I drive it. I baby this car weigh too much. But it's worth it.
My 2002 Infiniti has power reclining rear seats and it has 340hp, I’ve always loved LEXUS but this Q45 is majorly impressive. It has adaptive cruise control too (set the cruise control and if the car in front of you stops it will stop on its own, or slow down or speed back up) IN 2002!! Rear power sun shades and also rear side window sun shades, heated AND COOLED SEATS ALL 4 SEATS Infiniti was a real competitor back in the day, in 2002 this Q45 had even more features than any Mercedes BMW and Lexus 5 years earlier than them, Anyways just wanted to let you know about a really sweet ass car and they’re rare AF. Mine has 78,000/m. I also have a 2004 LS430 too. Also i respect that drug free shit its pretty rare to see young guys reppin that proudly, i did drugs at your age thought i was cool AF took ruining my life to be on that drug free shit, stay being yourself. Nice car
There goes my Infiniti fans! I've own 5 Infiniti's from G35,G37, and my favorite M35-45. I've ran some up to 325k miles no problem. I always love Lexus GS 450 and LS but never got a chance to buy one. Infiniti was way before it's time with that Q45 and M35-45 from 02 - 07 with all the same features and reliability for sure. I currently own a 07 M35 Sport with 168k super low miles for its age. Rear steering, turning headlights, black on black interior heated and cool seats sunroof, Nav etc. The M line comes pretty loaded standard. The only things I don't have which they offer just hard to find one these days all the way spec out is reclining seats tv in head rest, rear sun shade, heated steering, Adaptive cruise, auto wipers, DVD player, Speaker ls in seat. I owned a 2010 M35 sport that had all those options but I sold it for business purposes. It still saddens me to this day😢 2010 M35 Sport with 63k miles back in 2018.
I absolutely love the big body infinitis!!!! The g35 and g37 has been overplayed here but a goal of mine is definitely to get a Q70L with the 5.6L. I love it brotha!!! Ride on!
@mitrulescu Yessirrr! There you go now your speaking my language lol. I'm in pursuit of a 2018-2019 Q70L 5.6 also! Has to be Midnight Blue, Liquid Platinum Silver, Obsidian Black or Snow white in that order. It's hard to find the v8 Q70L tho!
I think we have talked on IG before. The LS is lookin sweet my man. I had to sell mine recently. But I hope to get back into one soon again. Much love.
Where’d you get those rims? Those are bad ass. I also love the roof and trunk spoilers. Looks great. I have a 2015 LS460L Awd and i love it. Just turned 64k miles and all I have done is coilovers and tint 😂 thanks for the video bro
Hell yeah! Glad you enjoyed! Got em off another guy who had a 2010 460L. He got em from threepiece.us would not recommend them based on the horror stories I’ve heard tho
I have the 07 460L executive package…. The back arm rest has everything in it & a display that control music, air condition, reclining seat, heated, air purifier & behind the arm rest there a lil compartment which is a refrigerator & keep can drinks cold ash…. Blacked out with deep dish 22s & 5% tint, my interior is tan with black wood grain & black dash, looks fire asf…. But yea that dash gets really gummy in the summer
I aspire to have the executive package. This is dope as hell. Unfortunately those panels will need replacing but nothing a dash cover can’t hide right?🤣 (ps if you can’t see it it’s not there👀)
about the trunk opening - I don't know, if somebody already stated that, but if you press the trunk button second time, you deactivate the automatic opening. Sure it's nice, but too slow for me, so I always double press it. (or at least on my '07 it works like that)

That Is VENTILATION. Most cars have heated or cooling, but Lexus also has Ventilation. 😉 Okay one more.. 😆 im pretty sure you can verbally tell the care what temperature you want the air conditioner to achieve by holding down the voice command button and speaking a temperature. OH... your parking feature is best used in a parking lot or parallel street parking... not for stationary situations or random parking space location while sitting still... 😄 check my youtube page for more hints...
Hey, I'm looking to get a ls460 in the future. I currently drive a 2008 Subaru Legacy Spec.B it has a ton done to it suspension wise including a full tubular suspension. I'm currently also on bags. I can't recommend enough avoiding them as with one fault of the pressure regulator you're looking at a $1k repair or else you're stuck manually adjusting each corner of the car. Its extremely inconvenient and im over it
Sheesh. Yeah I hate to say all cars break something at some point. It’s not a matter of if just a matter of when and what. It’s also what you’re willing to deal with. So trust me I feel you
I just recently bought my 2007 LS 460 and I was wondering if you or anybody has ever lost all power to your LS? It was running fine next time I went to crank it nothing absolutely no power at all. Any one been through this and can tell me what the problem is please help.
If you hold the little black button on your driver door you can roll up the windows and close the sunroof. Without taking that chrome cap off and putting the key in.
Oh it’s not CarPlay, it just works with Spotify. It’s called the Spotify Car Thing. (I’m not kidding) I don’t think they make it anymore but I saw some on eBay!
I remember thinking my SWB was a "base" model simply because it didn't have the vip ottomon, the massage,or the DVD I did however have heating and cooled reclining rear seats. I hate that the "Sport" models from 10-16 lack this feature.
Sure! Control arms are known to fail, never get the first model year if you can avoid it (that’s with any car), if it’s on air suspension those go bad on any car (not if but when), make sure it was meticulously serviced.
Control arms, sticky panels, proof of regular maintenance, if it has air suspension be weary and replace asap. 20s look beautiful on these slammed or not imo. Seems to be the community standard for them but it’s personal choice
Correct. They did a small refresh in 2010 to where some of the body looks different. But from what I’ve heard anything from 2010+ is the most ideal. They’re not bad cars by any means just preference
If you’re talking about type then it takes either 0w-20 or 5w-20. I prefer to use 5w-20. If you’re talking about brand idk much about the differences between brands so I just use Mobil1
The mirror motors are loud … they might be going out soon. My LS460F is silent. maybe sourcing The headlights are in awesome shape. my F sport is already bagged 😂
I think to complete the look of this car is to remove the Lexus logo on the front grille, and replace it with the same style grill, just no logo. 7:46 is a good example of how good this looks.
Not a stupid question at all! I have both of my cats. It’s just a muffler and resonator delete. Idk how they do it elsewhere but here in GA as long as you don’t have a check engine light (which you get from removing the cats and not tuning it out) you’re good to go
@@MarkM.M. thank you! Does the ride still feel smooth with the resonator and mufflers being taking off? I just want to get a good idea before I take them off
In the end of the day it’s a luxury automobile that’s 15 years old. Stuffs gonna wear and break or not work as good as it used to. BUT it is also a Lexus v8 so it holds up pretty well on its end. Is it German car unreliable? No. Is it camry reliable? Also no. I wouldn’t call it unreliable tho
It’s funny I watched that video yesterday. Ummm 10K to rebuild the front suspension😳, or 30K to rebuild the engine….😂 I wasn’t aware of the issues with the LS460 but this car seems like a ticking time bomb in a sense.
Show me a newer luxury car that isn’t 🤣 most major issues we’re fixed under recall. If you don’t want a big maintenance bill then Honda makes a great civic!!
@@MarkM.M. when u open the car with the key but u don’t open any door the car close after 30s u can change that setting same with the trunk it’s opening at normal if remember 7s and u can change it faster or slower need the techtream
Those years from 2006 to 2010 were the best LS years Lexus ever made. So much better looking and classier than today's LS models.
I’ve heard the 2010-2012 were the most reliable of this body style
The head is a bit out of my favor other parts are decent

I just recently bought my 2007 LS 460 and I was wondering if you or anybody has ever lost all power to your LS? It was running fine next time I went to crank it nothing absolutely no power at all. Any one been through this and can tell me what the problem is please help.
Sadly I have no idea but hopefully the comment section can help! Google and forums have helped me out a lot
If you hold the little black button on your driver door you can roll up the windows and close the sunroof. Without taking that chrome cap off and putting the key in.
No way🤯🤯🤯
@@MarkM.M. I can just picture you grabbing the keys and running to your car to try it. Enjoy your car sir.
What’s brand is your little car play screen?
Oh it’s not CarPlay, it just works with Spotify. It’s called the Spotify Car Thing. (I’m not kidding) I don’t think they make it anymore but I saw some on eBay!
@@MarkM.M. that’s sick, I’ll probably do some research on it later on
I have an Ls400 right now and I want one of these eventually
I vouch for it!
I remember thinking my SWB was a "base" model simply because it didn't have the vip ottomon, the massage,or the DVD
I did however have heating and cooled reclining rear seats.
I hate that the "Sport" models from 10-16 lack this feature.
Mine only has heated rear seats. I would love the full executive package but I just couldn’t foot that bill
They definitely skimped out on the features as time went on
@MarkM.M. mine was a used 07.
I got lucky. I totalled him late 2020.
Love the car
Thank you brother!
Thinking about trading in my 08 Avalon for a 07 Lexus ls460 rwd anything I should know before if I do trade in my car for it
Sure! Control arms are known to fail, never get the first model year if you can avoid it (that’s with any car), if it’s on air suspension those go bad on any car (not if but when), make sure it was meticulously serviced.
I just got one of the ls 460 2011 they the best cars
Got the good years too🔥 congrats on the purchase! I hope you enjoy the hell out of it!!
Going to pick an ‘07 up tomorrow with 146k miles, my parents have an ‘08… I also have a ‘93 LS400 smoothest cars to drive!
Damn son!!!! Raised right🔥🤣
Looking at 2007 with 161K any recommendations to look out for? And what size rims would you recommend? I don’t wanna slam it.
Control arms, sticky panels, proof of regular maintenance, if it has air suspension be weary and replace asap. 20s look beautiful on these slammed or not imo. Seems to be the community standard for them but it’s personal choice
Also I wouldn’t go for an 07 if possible. That’s one thing I’d redo if I had a second chance. You never want the first model year of a new body style
@@MarkM.M. so later years like 08 or 09, 10’
Correct. They did a small refresh in 2010 to where some of the body looks different. But from what I’ve heard anything from 2010+ is the most ideal. They’re not bad cars by any means just preference
@@MarkM.M. and they rare fr. What mileage should i look for though. And how much did it cost to replace the air suspension
Citroen had swivel as you turn headlights years ago!
How neat!
Who edits your video? Ish jumping around a lot.
I appreciate the feedback!
How did you solve the brake issue that these car know for…
Haven’t heard of it. My brakes have been going strong and I haven’t had any issues so far
Good video hit me when you go bagged and want to get rid of those coil overs!
Sheeettt I would but I think ima keep these as a backup set just in case a bag goes out. I’ll lyk tho for sure!!!
What oil is best for these cars?
If you’re talking about type then it takes either 0w-20 or 5w-20. I prefer to use 5w-20. If you’re talking about brand idk much about the differences between brands so I just use Mobil1
The mirror motors are loud … they might be going out soon. My LS460F is silent. maybe sourcing The headlights are in awesome shape. my F sport is already bagged 😂
It’s an 07 so I wouldn’t doubt it 🤣 might have more than one thing hanging on for dead life 😭. Prob gonna bag mine next just needs maintenance rn
I think to complete the look of this car is to remove the Lexus logo on the front grille, and replace it with the same style grill, just no logo.
7:46 is a good example of how good this looks.
Prob gonna get the wald grill. Different style but same logo. I’m not too big of a fan of the logo delete
Hey I know this is a stupid question but how do you pass the smog test?
Not a stupid question at all! I have both of my cats. It’s just a muffler and resonator delete. Idk how they do it elsewhere but here in GA as long as you don’t have a check engine light (which you get from removing the cats and not tuning it out) you’re good to go
@@MarkM.M. thank you! Does the ride still feel smooth with the resonator and mufflers being taking off? I just want to get a good idea before I take them off
Yeah it’s fine. As with any straight pipe you can definitely feel a slight loss of power or “peppiness” if you want to put it that way
Please can you send me.the full details of the wheels please
Great video! Fitment industries has a lifetime warranty on the purchase of Air bags. This car has many features. Keep it out of the sun.
Thank you! That’s the plan!
Is this ET 5 & ET 7 on the wheels
Yes!
Yea…I’m finna get one😮💨
As you should 🤝
Nice
Thanks!
12:07 same three mean in front consol it look like it’s one pc ash Trey and middle consol
22:48 Thanks bro
Fam I GOTCHU
Hold button is awesome! You dont have to keep your foot on brake pedal at stop lights. Just tap gas when youre ready to roll.
I love that it has that feature as well! I just trust my foot more than a button🤣 not because it malfunctions but because I’m paranoid
It works great if you’re not on a slope.
What a gorgeous car!!!!!!
Thank you!!!
There is a key hole on the trunk.. To the right of the Lexus symbol
Well damn… learn something new everyday 🤣
My 08 Infiniti g35x has 98 percent of these features as well. Foreign luxury was always ahead of their time. Especially with Lexus and Infiniti
I’m a sucker for g35 sedans 🔥🔥🔥
Think 21” is on point
I have a bottle of soda and some mentos think we can trade???
I think we can make something happen
Does anyone know any Lexus tuners or ways to remove the 130mph speed limiter?
Tuned by Loi is the only one Ik of that tunes the 460s
@@MarkM.M. you know his IG?
I have the exact amount car. 2007 lexus 460L mine has the radio controls in the back seats. Mine has 177,000 miles.
Nice!!!
💐💐💐
trink I can change the time how fast is open and most LEXUS OWNER HAVE ALWAYS TIME!!!
Black interior is way better...I play with it yesterday to 110 mph on highway which is very smooth mines with 210k
They love top end it’s great! Black interior is definitely the way
nice car bro
Thanks boss!
So I shouldn’t make a static 460? Damn…
Maannn I never said that🤣🤣🤣 if you got the balls then go for it! Lord knows I don’t 🤣😭
I have the 09 Base. Does all of the same things lol
Dope!
The care care nut says that this was one of the most unreliable Lexus cars you can buy... Thoughts ?
In the end of the day it’s a luxury automobile that’s 15 years old. Stuffs gonna wear and break or not work as good as it used to. BUT it is also a Lexus v8 so it holds up pretty well on its end. Is it German car unreliable? No. Is it camry reliable? Also no. I wouldn’t call it unreliable tho
It’s funny I watched that video yesterday. Ummm 10K to rebuild the front suspension😳, or 30K to rebuild the engine….😂
I wasn’t aware of the issues with the LS460 but this car seems like a ticking time bomb in a sense.
Show me a newer luxury car that isn’t 🤣 most major issues we’re fixed under recall. If you don’t want a big maintenance bill then Honda makes a great civic!!
It wasn't designed to be a sports car.
It's accountable luxury automobile.
That’s for sure! Some people jump to buy them when they see it has a v8 and expect performance but don’t do their research
u can change change the settings car close after 30s
??
@@MarkM.M. when u open the car with the key but u don’t open any door the car close after 30s u can change that setting same with the trunk it’s opening at normal if remember 7s and u can change it faster or slower need the techtream
@MisterPresedent that’s badass
Masked Wolf!
Why do record urself talking about ur boat?!? Show the boat...not u....
Just to make you comment
Recorded horizontally:)
Bro what
I want one😢
Pull the triggerrrrrr
I just bought an 07 ls 460 with 79,500 on it,
Hell yes!! I hope you enjoy it. Do maintenance!
People forget that this car brand new was like 90k lol
RIGHT?!
It cost fortune back in the 2007
Something like 80k
85k on a 2008 is250 it will live forever 😅
I hope so😭
Ima buy one ls 460 with 139k for 5k
Damn that’s cheap! Be careful with how it was maintained for that price
@@MarkM.M. it’s clean title
@@MarkM.M. do I add the scanner before
@gtkid3289 I’d still check the maintenance records. If this car isn’t well maintained it’s gonna be a huge headache, clean title or not
weed isnt a drug homie
So out of all things from the video THATS what you decided to comment on 🤣🤦🏻♂️ my fault g I forgot you got a phd
Enjoy your video, but what is with the video cut every 3 seconds and angle change. I literally couldn't continue watching.
Thanks for the tip
The jump cuts are ridiculous
Idk if you mean this in a good or bad way
Bro, cool video.
But, we don’t want to look at you! We want to look at the car while we listen to you!
Bro, thank you! Cool profile pic!
