I used to work at Old Navy staging the store, and generally they give you photos of what they want the outfits to look like, but one time we didn’t have any of the items, so the manager told me to “throw an outfit together” that included a more expensive item and went with the theme. It was like 4AM and I was tired and wanted to go home, so I put together what I thought was a hideous outfit. The next day when the store opened, some guy bought the EXACT outfit for his girlfriend. Couldn’t decide if I was an unintentional trendsetter or the guy had terrible taste.
I’m surprised at the fact that I liked a couple of those. H &m was a NO for me but loved that last look though you’re right I’d do a plain top under the jacket or just wear the top, but cute for sure
Off topic but, I have a theory: What if clothing stores have their clothes scattered around so if you ARE looking for a specific item, it would be "hidden". This causes you to stay longer and looking at other clothes you don't intend on buying, but buy it anyway. Giving the company more money. AGAIN this is just a theory.
Yeah it’s a thing. That’s also the reason why in supermarkets they (usually) have first necessity items in the back, like milk and bread. It’s for you to walk past all of their products and hopefully end up buying something else.

People walk up to her and try to figure out if she is real, or a wax figure or something, then all she does is turn her head and it scares the shit out of them. I'll film it some time if I can.
I love that you took the time to research the current trends at each individual store, and how you analysed their objectives behind the styling of each mannequin. Your videos are definitely entertaining, but I always feel like I learn something as well. If anyone else made this video on RUclips, they would probably just stop at telling us what they like or dislike about the outfits. You always go above and beyond what everyone else is doing, and it definitely shows! If you ever decide to leave RUclips, I think you'd make a kick-ass marketing professor. 😉
