Gerçek kullanımlarda AC ile çalışan kapı kilit karşılığı kullandığımızda çoğu markada küçük mekanik bir hareketle ayarlanabilen iki seçenek çıkıyor karşımıza, ilk seçenekte kapı kilidi AC off olduğunda kendiliğinden açılıyor ki bu güvenlik için istenen bir şey değil ama yangın çıkışları için ideal, ikinci seçenek ise AC off olduğunda kilit de off konumunda kalıyor, o zaman mekanik anahtara sahip kişi kilidi (anahtarla) açabiliyor. Ama harici besleme eklemek de oldukça güvenli bir seçim :)...

What would happen if the power went out ? The door is open or locked ?
If power went out the door is locked.. because solenoid door lock work(open) with 12v.... You must use accu/battery

I know you commented ages ago, but it may be a good idea to use a magnetic lock instead as it will remain open if power is lost. This obviously won't be a secure way to keep your home locked.

Nice video ! I have 1 questions : I want to integrate and sd card which wi have 2 excel files : auth.xls and report.xls.
Instead of having the authorized cards written in the code, I want Adruino the read the cards from the Auth.xls file located in the Sd Card and input the report in the other files (report.xls) with 3 collums " (Date Time, card Uid, denied /authorized). How can i do that? Thanks in advance for your help...

This is amazing but mine is doing the opposite of what it is supposed to. The lock is unlocked all the time and when I put the correct RFID card in front of it, the lock closes (locks). I triple checked the connections and the only thing I can think is that the wires coming off my AC adapter are switched. Is it possible the black coming for the power is actually positive and the red is negative? My lights are not going on either.

Lock seems to be working from electromagnet is it?
It's a solenoid, which uses a magnet to pull it open. Just like taking a magnet and putting the opposites end together.

HI, I set up my Arduino to open a maglock instead of a solenoid lock, however, I am having to unplug the Arduino to use it also if it sits too long, I have to unplug again. I would also like to know how to substring another card so I can use more than one rfid card to open the lock,

Hi! I have a question. What is the problem if I scan first the Access denied card then the buzzer beat. and then when the Access Granted it will unlock, but when I scan again either the Access Granted or denied it won't function then. I have to unplug it again to reset. Please help meeeee.
