How did it go
This is lit. I made a similar setup with arduino but using a microservo sg90 and is not as strong as how i want it to push my lock mechanism and this idea and where i want to place the lock would definitely make it work and will be firm to lock the area. Thanx so much for sharing such a great idea, very helpful😊

So, we still need 2 powers right? 5v to arduino and 12v for the solenoid. How if i want to make it just 1 power supply? Did i need IC LM 7805 module or what?

hi, can the solenoid be powered without battery power supply?
First tap the card, servo will rotating 180° and the second tapping,servo will return to starting position.

In the Serial monitor im not getting anything after putting the card to the sensor it only shows the display message and thats it. What could be the problem?

Change it to: if(content.substring(1) == "XX XX XX XX" or content.substring(1) == "XX XX XX XX" or ...)

Which simulation software are you using?
I made this by using Arduino Nano. When I didn’t connect the solenoid lock, the circuit and relay worked fine. But when I connected the solenoid lock and battery (7.4 V), the circuit stopped working when the solenoid unlocked (LED turned green). However, the circuit still worked fine if the unregistered card was tapped.
