Good review as always... For $15 more I would rather have the Thorogood 814-4600 6" boot... It is made in the US by union workers, looks better, and has a better insole... For it being foreign made I would think the Duluth boot would be at least $50 cheaper...
They are comfortable. They are very warm. I use them with 2 pair of socks and get me through most of the winter while working outside. Not sure how long they will last though. One year in the are holding up pretty well. But I can’t wear them when it’s more than about 55 degrees or lower than 10 to 15.
you can buy them on their site. right now they only have medium in stock. just have to keep checking in. called the popflight pebble insole. i love mine

Nice job on putting together this review of the Wedgestone Boot with a lot of useful, helpful information. I agree with you on the aesthetics, yet it seems like its a solid, comfortable work boot. Very nice job on creating the video; everything from the live scenes to the still pictures are integrated into the video in a very cohesive manner. Keep up the good work...Ed
I ordered these boots and they do seem well built but the sole does not flex and this hurt my knees and hips after a few days. And now they charge $8 to return them.
First off I think it's a good looking boot. Second I believe it's a boot for only two types of people in my humble opinion. I believe it's for people that just want a boot for casual wear and not for work but just having a boot that looks good when you're out and about. second I think it's for people that are going to do some yard work and things around their home and it would be great for that. Finally, the way the soul pictures out behind the heel and front of the toe I believe if anyone used this as an actual real world work boot that would start to peel away over time. For those reasons I don't think it's a real world work boot but it has its purpose.
I disagree. I have timberland Gridworks which not only look very similar but are built similar. And these have genuine vibram soles unlike the Gridworks. I do construction and my Gridworks are just now starting to wear down bad after 14months. I'm sure these will stand up just as good if not better than the timberlands.
What would you suggest? This was recorded with a rode shotgun. Sonically it's fine. But the room I'm working is has four hard walls. So what I think would be better is sound tiles added to the space.

unions are socialist. socialism is anti-American. i dont understand your opinion.
@@carl-ok9gn that's a pretty broad statement, advocated for anyone with black lung lately?
Take a hike Carl
I feel like this is just a Duluth commercial
im looking for a pair in mens size 9
Great review! Appreciate your knowledge and the thoroughness. Thanks for showing the shoe on your feet, moving/walking in them. Helps a ton!

If you don’t care about what a boot looks like these’ll do.
One of your best review jobs I think.
Super review
Good boot review !
They sure alot like the timberlands.
Great design boot. Good review. Thank you for the video
Good Evening Young Man, you have Women who work in Construction who watch your video's. Thank You
Duluth makes a soft moc toe version of these but the lame black outer heel cup is still there. It’s out of stock/coming soon.
finding tall safety work boots is a pain in the ass
huh?? burnsides exist
Timberland has a similar real good !
The grid works boot is pretty durable. I've had mine for 14 months. Their on their way out and starting to hurt my feet a little.
Yea they were my go to boots but unfortunately they discontinued the composite toe version
.... what Frankenstein would wear if he had style.
I have a wide foot and high instep. Large shoe size. Any hope for me?
Any idea on where to find that exact sole replacement? I called Duluth and they couldn't even give me an answer.
currently I don't think you're going to find an exact replacement You might just have to replace it with a regular vibram crepe sole.

This boot looks like it would last
Man do some more keen and cat and timberland pro there ezer to find
Hopefully for you they're easier to find than it is to spell the word "easier" otherwise you'll have to go barefoot.

Get a better microphone, boot guy.

@@TheBootGuyreviews a Rode Shotgun....nice. The video sounds ok. Maybe a tad low on the volume side..but not a big issue.
Cheers
The box looks better than the shoe. Who designed that shoe & said *this looks great*? Lol. Ugly boot.
This is one of the ugliest boots ever manufactured.
