I bought the exact pair last year and I have to say the metatarsals being separate helps you kneel down and bend over in that way because my Carolina's had them thirty years they can still fit me in work but the metatarsals one piece and a bunches up the leather at the end by the two so you might want to bring that up I figure if I'm going to spend a couple hundred dollars if I get 30 years out of it I'll be happy as I can be
