This video was so helpful. I am currently a pre-k teacher and a practicing Catholic. I have been interested in teaching at a Catholic school for all of the reasons you mentioned. I am about to begin the process of looking for a new job and plan on applying to a few Catholic schools, we'll see what happens. May God continue to bless you and your students.
I am currently going to school to be a middle school and high school teacher! I attended a private Catholic School from grades Preschool-8th grade and absolutely loved it! I am hoping to go back and teach at that school once I graduate next year!
What if a child is a slow learner or has a learning disability would he be disqualified from attending a Catholic school? My son recently tested in hopes of enrolling in a catholic school and his academic score was behind grade level so basically he would not be accepted a possibility would be to hold him back a grade which was not an option because he was already a late kindergarten starter so basically he would have been behind 2 grades. We were disappointed, to say the least.. do you know if all students are tested for private schooling in general?
Our son has undiagnosed mild ADHD, and the catholic school already decided 4 days into 1st grade that this would be a problem. They will push for medication, which we will never agree with. We are homeschooling now, and he gets the one on one attention that he needs and is going great. The catholic education left us with a bitter taste as there is discrimination against children who learn differently. ADHD is not a disability, is a learning difference. The teacher was just too lazy to incite his attention and curiosity in a smart way.
Actually in the education domain, it would have been best that the teachers are onboard. That is Catholic teachers at Catholic schools. The same goes for any other denomination.
Class size varies by grade, honestly. My classes have varied in size from 15 - 24. Each year is different based on enrollment & amount of teachers per grade. Technically, I have before/after school duty everyday. At my school, each teacher is responsible for their own students.
Hi...thanks for this video. I am a teacher and I took my Masters in Religious Education and I wish to ask some questions. Can I somehow contact you via Facebook messanger? thanks for responding to my request. God bless!

I applied to several Catholic schools for teaching. They don’t respond for some reason.
Maybe God wants me to stay at my current school.

Great video. What is your class size like? How often do you have before/after school duty?

Do Catholic schools teach lgbtq acceptance?
Lol, does public school embrace the idea of a higher of power? Separation of church and state
Can you be my children’s teacher!❤❤
