the gorillas were like " oh! they FINALLY got us that dog we've been asking for!!" ..then probably so disappointed.. remember Coco asked for a kitten and loved her kitten.."All ball"
That dog has very good manners. He didn’t fuss about having the leash on him and walks right next to the lady from the humane society when he was being escorted out. Good boy!
Probably the first time for both animals to ever encounter the other species and it was weird. The dog was more curious but the gorillas went into defensive mode. Natural instinct on their part but the dog obviously too domesticated just wanted to be friends.
It says alot to the mindset of a gorilla. It didn’t wanna hurt or attack the dog. Literally at one point threw dirt at him as if to tell the dog to buzz off.
@Tu Su stop posting this bs link. No one wants to see this bs. Have some respect. Especially in a different language. Can’t even understand. It’s not racist. It’s just links.
To be fair, it's a strange animal just showinf up in his home. Silverbacks are aggressive because they have to protect their family, the Gorillas don't realize the dog isn't a threat.
UPDATE: As of June 20, 2022 = "The owner of the dog who was safely removed from inside of a gorilla enclosure at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park Sunday, June 12 has come forward, according to the San Diego Humane Society. The dog was temporarily named "Mighty Joe Young” and we've learned now that his name is Meatball." Just a perfect name!!
Oh, come on. How could a dog wander into a gorilla enclosure? If you can't keep a 50 lb. dog out, how can you keep a 400 lb. gorilla in? Everyone who works there should be fired.
Apparently most zoos do not really know of ways to fully keep gorillas and chimps closed up. Turns out when they truly want to escape, they literally do more so than any other animals.
Or they should hire the Purple Heart green beret Tom cruise Scientology plane gliding megamind genius named Wayne hersel (you)….. hehe that would be awesome.
@@rottieshepcalibre9156 That's fine everyone is entitled to an opinion. Of course without zoos and international breeding programs animals like the gorilla, especially the Lowland Gorilla will most likely go extinct due to human encroachment on their natural habitat. But hey they won't be being kept in zoos enclosures right.
And what about the alternative, which is the lesser of two evils, zoos and international breeding programs to ensure the survival of the species or extinction because of human encroachment and destruction of their natural habitat.
@@andrewg3238 they’ve got great intentions but the truth is that if their habitats are gone, where do you release the animals from a breeding program so that they can enjoy the life they deserve? If humans have destroyed the habitat already then they’re just going to put the animals into a designated area, again, to make themselves feel better. Preserves become zoos without walls and fences. And targets for poachers.
How did he get in can you imagine if the child got in from the same place the dog did of course there is a opening way to get in I hope they fix that up
Hope he gets adopted out soon. His family doesn’t deserve him: not neutered, not microchipped, no collar. Other reports mentioned another dog (who didn’t get into the enclosure).🤷♀️ So happy this boy is safe 💖🐾🐾
Thank goodness the dog wasn't a homeless person looking for a place to sleep. The cops would have taken his doghouse to the dump and then put up spikes all over the gorilla exhibit to prevent the dog from sleeping anywhere.

At least it wasn't a stray gorilla finding itself in a dog enclosure.
🤣🤣🤣
One guy yelled to the dog.." Use the steps"...the dog was like , what? I don't speak English? 😆
Idiots 😂😂😂

Imagine if the gorillas were like "you are one of us now tiny four legged one"
They need to determine how the dog got into the gorilla habitat before the gorillas discover the way out.
Remember Rise of the planet of the apes
Puppy went exploring in San Diego . One wrong turn and he was in a far off jungle with huge creatures that did not want to play .
RIP Harambe, never forget
The gorillas just following the dog like, "we just want to talk to you'.
😂😂😂😂😂
LMAO!
Nice looking pooch, I'm looking for pup like him.
I'm glad the dog made it.

Dogs can't jump fences there ,
So where and why was there a place for him to get in ?
need to find and fix the hole so this will never happen again
Aww glad Might Joe young is okay.
To help out the scared dog…. Sure it was
Hope he get adopted quickly
They should make a Pixar movie out of this lol
A 5-minute animated movie? Nah.
Come forward so we can give you fine. I think that dog is going to be up for adoption in the near future.
Someone plz adopt him!!
He was reunited with his owner.
Reminds me of that scene in anchorman where Ron jumps into the bear pit, and immediately gets world news coverage lol
🤣
They should nickname him, "Mighty Lucky."
They should've let the gorillas adopt him. Imagine how much less boring the gorillas' lives would be.
Glad this sweetheart is OK. I would name him Tarzan, who walked among the apes.
I like that name 👍
Mammals have a pretty good ability to judge who is or is not dangerous.
Thank goodness they didnt shoot the gorilla like last time... RIP HARAMBE!
he doesnt look scared... he looks as happy as can be! Unaware of the dangers
Actually there were some fearful indicators.
That tail says otherwise.

Keeping any wild animal caged up like that is evil. Plain and simple. They belong in the wild. Glad the dog was OK.
I agree 👍🏾 💯 I am getting real sick of zoo's

HOW EXACTLY DID THE DOG "WANDER" INTO A ENCLOSURE ??

I’m glad they put the gorillas up to ware they could save the dog.

I thought the gorilla was gonna start playing with the dog
That’s weird a stray dog in that area . Unheard of.

Yeah he was claimed by his owner. Maybe the zoo doesn't deserve the gorilla. They can't keep dogs out of there. Ever think of that?

Who brings a dog to the zoo? I thought they had rules against that.

So, they shot the rilla because the dog felt threatened by an animal that was curious to see what a k9 is doing in his prison
