Taylor W. Just curious why display case back bothers some people? It’s not visible when you are wearing it. And if you want to see the movement, look. If not, don’t. But since it’s not visible while wearing, I don’t see what the issue is.

I’m a Hamilton KFM owner too so not a hater btw. I love field watches and this cheapens their stellar reputation a little IMO. They don’t need to work that hard.

I just bought a Seiko Presage StarBar and I find this watch very light. It’s so light that it feels a little cheap. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Ti watch just for that very reason.
Not sure I care for sub seconds on the chaptering given it’s not a stopwatch/chronograph. Why make it more busy with those tick marks between the seconds? Will anyone try to time something on this watch to within less than a second? Otherwise, very nice.

What grade of Titanium ? 2 😰 It’s pure titanium and will scratch easily than stainless steel case. Grade 5 titanium is comparable to stainless steel scratch resistance.
Found this video trying to find the newly released titanium khakis with the newly designed shorter lugs. I have an OG 38mm khaki field. The watch is great except for the garbage lume and not having any type of anti reflection. You answered both for me assuming the new ones have the same build quality as this one.
I can definitely recommend the intra-matic chrono... had the original 42mm release and I'm regretting to have sold it so I might go back in for the 40mm variant.
Hey Rob...just bought a Timex weekender on a leather NATO from Amazon $34.74! I love this watch (for what it is). Black face field watch style. High quality which was better than expected from Timex. I saw the Q watch...then began looking at Timex a bit deeper...I saw the hand winding Celestial and the Marlin and wow! I bought the inexpensive Weekender as a test and I can say it's enought to step up within the brand to a Timex mechanical...a Waterbury or similar. If that works out I will go for Marlin then celestial.... I own this Hamilton you're reviewing on this post. I love it ! But maybe you checkout a few Timex models for us one day...
I asked my AD to get one of these in when I first saw them announced - then COVID hit. I ended up ordering a Stowa Ikarus to get my grey dial fix but I still really like this one. I may check out the black PVD version or one of the 40mm variants. I appreciate you taking a look at this new model and great vid.

Um, Bertucci makes solid titanium cases with titanium screw down casebacks and crowns that start at $130. It ain’t that hard.
But quartz gives you cancer.

Weather its Hamilton, Squale, or even Blanpain having a word printed at the side is just plan tackie.

20mm lug width is an improvement to my eyes over the standard field 22mm. Gives the watch a more refine look.
