- One last freestyle run before Dying Light 2's "Good Night, Good Luck" update drops. This won't remove the "old" parkour system (what you see in this clip), but it's nice to have a log of what it looked like when I got this milestone.

I got 240 hrs in the game. At some point parkour starting to be boring tbh. Finally parkour is getting updated. Cant wait for this
i have 300, if i wouldnt have stopped for a minute i would be in the thousands 😭
I feel like I didn’t enjoy parkour that much because with the fast travels it was kinda useless and less needed.
It was never boring to me 😂😂 an I have a thousand hours in the game the first dying light parkour was boring to me the second game was more fluid

I like the parkour a lot but hate when i fail and all my momentum is lost.

Yea I feel you. The endgame content isn't there, since they focused on changing the core mechanics for most of the year and a half, post-launch.

This parkour system isn't going away completely. It will stay there as an "assisted" option I believe.

@@ahmadsultan2870Physical is better like u can airstrafe and u feel alot faster. While assisted turns off that and makes parkour bad. Assisted should be gone completely.

Slide jump gives you a ton of speed. I also do a short wallrun (1-2 steps on the wall), which I call a wallkick (Titanfall language) to maintain speed and cross longer distances. Combining both of these gives you decent speeds on some segments.
I just want nighttime to be scary. That's all I ask

Bro how do I change the post processing effects on ps5 the contrast In the lighting is so bad I can barely see during daytime
Oof, I feel you lol. That's something we all are dealing with at the moment. The bloom, water effects and the sheer contrast between sunlight and shadows is a bit too much at times.
Tweak your TV settings, there's no other option really since all the in-game filters don't really tone down the bloom/contrast imo. That's what I've done on my PC's monitor.

No idea tbh. They haven't announced anything on the roadmap that I know of. If they release something with tomorrow's update, that'll be a pleasant surprise but I doubt it.
The rest of this year is going to be full of little updates and content additions so I wouldn't be surprised if they release a fix for it sometime since this is a very common complaint.
I'm on PC so no idea about TV screens unfortunately. Maybe try lowering your TV's contrast and play with the Shadows/white balance?

Not patched, just changed the keys. You use slide + jump now, instead of slide + kick.

Do you mean a double jump as the game calls it? Tap crouch when in the air, then double tap jump on landing.

It's a skill on the parkour tree. The game only shows you how to do it after an active landing, doesn't teach other combos.
I have almost 200 hrs and yeah I can do that but it is still impressive

Not about to hate but... 100 hours? Those are rookie numbers.. I usually hit about 500 to 1500 hours in a single game until I get bored of it, excluding minecraft which I probably have played way over 20k hours in 9 years lmao

No offense, no one cares about your hours. That's hardly something to flex. This was just a way to document what the movement looked like BEFORE the major parkour update, to establish a reference point.

My ideal game is DL1 with some DL2 elements like the parkour moves and maps along with DL1's maps. That's kinda what I expected from DL2 tbh.
