- Late Shift is a FMV game that puts Matt, a simple Valet, through a night of dangerous odds. A case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time causes Matt to partake in a dangerous heist that rubs people in a bad way. A gang organization now hunts Matt down for the item he stole.

The bribe is my favorite even though i liked May. The coward ending is the worst because you get your arse beat by an old guy.

What happens if you do the bribe but when they ask if May lied you say no?
@@dennisshelby9268 You mean when they ask is it true that Parr intended to keep the original? It doesn't matter which one you pick. Either one will allow Matt to leave (May Ling is presumed to be dead)

I managed to get the best ending the ploy
Luckily I managed to deduce that some of the best choices were the least obvious ones
This game was really good. I liked the story and its endings
I got the 3rd ending sadly😂😂 I didn't wanna replay the game over and over when I saw that there was 7 endings, so I went to youtube

i got the secret ending, the one that you chose not to investigate in the beginning. its called "carry on".
I got the Ploy ending first try, although May was unfortunately injured. Still a win in my books tho

The bribe is the best since you never met may ling b4 tonight as he can say. And she’s never even done anything for you. She’s the only nice one but still. And others are prevented from dying like the Chinese restaurant. She dies but she made her own choices. Now if we can just have every choice seen

Brilliant game. My game says I've only unlocked 4 endings yet I'd seen 6 of those lol. The only one I hadn't seen was the sixth one where you stopped Parr from dropping the bowl and got beaten up by him as a result.
I played this game for the first time like last month, My First ending was leaving May-Ling 💀

Anyway, that's not the point of this comment. I just want to say I LOVE this game, it's very intense and kind of speaks to me on a deep level XD
However I must say, I absolutely hate everything about the Tchoi's "lion's den" endings because it just never ends well, even the music just fills me with this nasty feeling of dread!!!! So indeed they made it well, but it still just gives me this feeling of dread which I hate lmao.
I'll probably play the game through once more after getting platinum, just to finish off with the BEST ending :)

I finished the game rn , and by luck I got the last ending “The Plot” 👌
I would put other two finals. 8th ending. Matt escape from London after he sold the bowl to black market.
9th ending. One of the robber survive (the one with black hair) and he kills everybody involved and he escape with the bowl.

You will still get the best ending even if you didn't toss him the bowl. If you just put it on the table, and not stop him from letting the bowl fall down on his hand, you will still get the best ending.

What happens to May in the bribe ending?
What happens if you betray Samuel Parr after taking the bribe?
If you can't blame Parr, the Tchois kill May. There is no option to betray Parr. After taking the bribe you deliver the bowl and he gets away.
Does that mean that all the choices you make before the car crash don't matter?
There is an important scene, and it involves the blonde girl. If you let her take the car or save her in the garage. She'll do you a favor if you choose to go to the hospital later.
Hey, sorry if this is asking too much but is it possible you could tell me what choices I have to make to get the ploy ending?
Near the end when you head back to the auction house: SNEAK to the elevator - GO UP - CONTINUE searching to bowl on the PC - say NO to the elevator - GO to the delivery car - ACCEPT May's phone call - GO TO PARR'S - then TOSS THE BOWL OVER TO HIM. Parr will think it's a fake.

I wonder what would happen if the old guy just couldn't catch it even though he tried, and it dropped and broke? That's most likely what would happen in real life lol

What if after putting the bowl on the table you dont fall for Parr's bluff? Can you still get to Ploy ending then?
Yes I believe so. Because if you do fall for it, you get the Fool end
I think that some of Bad Endings are even better than the Good One, for the nihilism of HK mafia being above absolutely everything, and Parr has much more charisma in these routes.
Girl was definitely not trustable and worth saving so The Bribe is BEST ending.
Now I need to watch some WMAF.

If you take the bribe or abandon her, she dies. May survives only in The Ploy

The Lion's Den - BAD ENDING - matt is framed

The Fool - OK ENDING - may is captured, matt lives
The Ploy - BEST ENDING - both live

In a single playthrough: SNEAK to the elevator - GO UP - CONTINUE searching to bowl on the PC - say NO to the elevator - GO to the delivery car - ACCEPT May's phone call - then GO TO THE TCHOI'S. Don't go to Parr.
6:07 I got this ending, I wanted to try different options but not this one, there is a difference between surrender or trying to shoot?
Unfortunately, there is no difference. If you fight or surrender, you die both ways because you didn't give them the bowl in time.
