I actually disliked that A LOT!!! A normal person would just contact MI6 and have them arrested.
Also, why does Amy hit Klare in the face in the end? That makes NO sense. She was incapacitated in the wheelchair.

There had to be more endings planned. A few scenes just equal nothing in the story. What you pointed out feels like a cop out because they ran out of budget.
@@keith_5584 but that "cop out" just makes sense. For the scene where klare is incapacitated, and how you always shoot everyone with the exact same scenes, whoever you choose to shoot. Reusing scenes is essential in these kinds of games.

Not a terrible game, but it would have been better if it wasn’t rushed and we didn’t have so many similar endings. I didn’t feel a connection to any of these characters.

I got one of the "good" endings on the first try, and then purposefully did a bad ending to see what it was like, but I didn't want to play the game a 3rd time through, let alone 9, so I am glad I saw them all played out here. I also was hopeful that Amy and Rees could end together. I guess the game developers didn't want to have something very happy amidst all the tragedy.

Play it through? Just press the TAB key to skip to the next choice. Every playthrough (after the first) takes only a couple of minutes.

There are like only 5 or 6 unique endings in total
Lot of false choice in the game. Not every thing can be detroit become human sadly
I expected that after seeing how some choices ended up having some external force changing what you chose to another one.
I mean they even count a game over in the first 15 minutes of the game as an ending...the others are basically 3 different endings with the video snippets in a different order.
@@MrStatistx I count 4 actual endings, Claire good and Claire bad, and then Reese Escape and Reese Greater Good. with the others counting as game overs or variants of the same (you kill everyone but don't die to Claire in claire good, regardless of choice, and you can escape with 2 different choices with reese(well not "with" reese but yo known what i mean))

I was really disturbed that claire had(!!!) an evidence but decided not to publish the truth by herself or to give it to police/goverment/etc. she lost her family and nearly a year lived and worked in another country so she could be given help from the uk goverment,for example,but she choose to steal an invention which could help to save many human lives in future , infect herself and try some terrorism.

I honestly think the best endings were when amy killed parker ,Emily and natalie, spared clare , got the news about kindar and didnt get cut earlier in the game. Or when she used Rees to leave through the back exit with the information about kindar. All of the other ones were worst in my opinion.
@Little Idols when you said emily was going to die did you mean clare? If so I wouldn't choose Clare over Rees. I just picked the best ending from both of their paths.
lies! unless you're talking about the hidden ending, emily can't avoid getting cut. it's inevitable. 🤔...? or maybe that's one of the 16?! scenes still?? that i'm missing. i got all endings though.
It is really sad that you can have "agent endings" only if Rees is dead :(
My theory is the fact Amy always a secret agent in all of these endings but Rees never will knowing it. Rees needs to die for we discover it because she will seek revenge if he die.
Would have liked to see an ending where Rees and Amy get together in the future....

Technically the ending when she escapes and they take rees, she already exposed nathile about the cells. Most likely the project ended and rees may have been cured.

I mean there isn't a cure, that's kinda the while driving mechanism for the plot. There is the one ending where they finish the tech a year later.

@@fleeting188 yep, you're right. IMO, 3 minutes for passing the dark hall, changing clothes (with Rees's condition) & passing to the exit door seems impossible.
If they could pass the exit door the guards will easily catch them too since Rees's condition using wheelchair.
Loved the twist that Amy was a MI6 spy all along, if you took all the aggressive choices then that makes her even more badass.
i don't think she was a spy all along. she said when she found out that her nanocells were being duplicated she went to mi6 and made a deal with them to expose and bring kengsinton to justice for her crimes on humans. when malkin pulled the knife on her she acted scared and helpless like she didn't know how to fight. also when he arose in the bathroom for round 2 with her, the punch (well one of them) she threw was that of somebody who doesn't know how to fight. she's more scientist than a spy.
@@romahnae Exactly, I agree with you! I see that she was a spy far more by occasion than by vocation.
It would’ve been nice to be able to choose when you leave with Rees to go to the Kensington office and do the same things with Clair (killing off everyone) and then the guards come in and Amy says she’s with the MI6… they find a cure for the nanos in Rees and Amy and him go on to work together again and possibly have a relationship 👀

It's weird how that Kill Parker/Clare ending is the only way Amy seems to get out of this without getting infected by Clare. Found it a little dissappointing that no matter who you picked out of the 4, they essentially all die regardless. Oh well... as one poster put it, no reall 'good' ending.

How is it that in some of the endings Amy doesn't have a clue about everything but then in others she knew the whole time??
Different endings create different story lines and her knowledge about what is going on.
Either she is still a secret agent when taking the Reese path and it just doesn't come up (because she decides to escape with him rather than face Kensington) or the movie is simply different and she isn't in the loop in one of the Reese endings.
They did that second option in I Saw Black Clouds. What is real and what isn't changes based on what the character chooses.

Hey, I played "The Complex" yesterday and it ended: Amy and Rees were at an impasse and Amy was threatened to release Rees (I hope you know which end I mean). Amy managed to escape and Rees was left behind. What I'm wondering now ... what's happening to Rees now? He is no longer shown and I just can't stop thinking about what happened to him. Did they kill him or did they heal him?
Im so Sad about that :( would have loved to have a happy ending
the screen of amy's relationships after that ending doesn't show him dead (having a skull on his picture), while the skull shows up for dead characters from other end scenes so it's fair to assume he's alive :)

Pretty good game but very short and little character dev,i got the use Reese ending,im somewhat supriced to hear that Amy was in touch with MI6 about it all along.
Why didn't Amy take Rees's blood to get the nanocells the moment he informed her he was infected? He was early-stage; surely he had enough blood to give, or at least some of his and some of Clare's.
Was it just me or when I saw the Ford body’s on that file it scared me
think my favorite ending is _lab rat_ . because it's so fucked up and sad at the same time, lol. rees should've just kept on passing through london and ignored the kensington korp. call.

all endings it doesn't even matter... finding all the scenes is the real work. played 12 times and only have 184 outta 196 scenes. smh
I managed to get 193 out of 196 scenes. About two dozen playthroughs experimenting with character relationship levels and choices. No clue how to get the last couple.
@@John-Jacob-Smith try being at 195/196. I've literally spent 10 hours trying to get last one. It's fking infuriating.
@@adamgarner4149 I gave up trying to find the last few. Honestly it's not worth it since a good chunk of the scenes are just slightly different versions of the same scenes.
Is it just me or are there 3 types of the same ending?
The endings are semi based on how you treat characters. Amy escaping with or without killing clare doesnt have anything to do with her getting infected or not. How you treat clare throughout does So you can get shes infected/killed clare. shes infected / didnt kill clare, shes clean/killed clare and shes clean/didnt kill clare. Which are very similiar but based on intent have a different feeling to the ending even tho its technicly the same cutscene as one of the others.

I consider late shift to be the best fmv game these people made this game was a solid 7/10
Okay a few questions to people who mastered this game or just the author.
1. What makes Amy survive? I believe that is not explained here, can you avoid the cut?
2. IS THERE NO FUCKING WAY BOTH AMY AND REES SURVIVES? This is outrageous! It's unfair!
I know you asked this a year ago but I just got and played the game myself, so to answer your questions:
- the cut is unavoidable. She gets it trying to get through the air vents, and no matter which way you try to do it, she manages to cut her finger
- nope, the creators were cruel lol
3 years later here I am.
1. The cut is inevitable, but it is not that difficult to get Clare as a friend than foe.
2. In the Trust Me for Once ending, Amy walks away and reports Nathalie to MI6 and at the result screen Rees is not marked as dead (no skull icon), so it is safe to say he survived. (Nathalie was arrested on the same day so maybe she was not able to extract enough blood sample out of Rees to kill him yet before the arrest. )

Very confusing game, how could killing Clare bring out two different endings, poisoned Amy, and just crying Amy..
One is where Clare likes Amy. One is where Clare doesn't like Amy

How are endings 1 and 5 different? In terms of choices, did ending 5 Amy seem less cruel so Clare didn't infect her?

I never knew this was an interactive movie. It showed up one day in the movie section and i just watched everything play out. No options. Everyone died in my ending just like in the first part of the video

Its at the beginning after they put clare in the tube thingy they give you an option if you want to use the drown or the ambulance and if u choose ambulance u get gassed

I bought this game earlier, great game, good for easy achievements, and I got the first of 9 endings for a 25 point achievement.
I chose the ending at the start of the video, persoanlly I think it was a good idea to shoot natalie, but it sucks that Rees died. Also what happened to Clare? Did she die or what? Not gonna lie it kinda had a shit ending though.

Do you know how to get all 196 scenes discovered I got all 9 endings with only 183 scenes so could you help me ?
I've managed to get 192 scenes. Some scenes you can only get if you have certain character relationship levels high or low enough and sensitivity level might also be involved. To be honest the variations of scenes are very minor and it's quite tedious going through the game multiple times trying to balance the levels as well as trying different choices to see any differences.

@@youssefehab8355 They probably did it to drive completionists crazy. I did manage to discover one more scene and have 193 total but I'm done trying to find the remaining few. I've played through the game 2 dozen or so times trying so many different combinations and experimenting with relationship levels to where I have no idea how to discover the last few.
You'd have to pretty much create a flowchart and keep track of every single choice and branching choices to find them all. Either there's a very specific chain of choices to pick to get the last few or perhaps a bug or glitch is not recognizing I've seen the last few already.

I got all 9 endings in 30 minutes.. I played it again and just pressed the skip button after each choise. Easy peasy.
I think that is how you are supposed to play it. The first time you watch the whole movie, and after that you try out different choices quickly and watch the new scenes and skip the ones you've already seen.
Still don't have the ending (Second Chance) ur mix is mixed!
