I did the weber swap on my original engine too, sometimes you have to tune them so the engine doesn't stall going around a corner. I have since replaced with fuel injection.
Great video! Quick question, I'm starting to do this swap on my car and I was wondering if there are any vacuum/ hoses should worry about. I saw in the video that I need to hook up the vacuum advance, but I wasn't sure what you ended up doing with the PCV and the other port that is open on the valve cover. I'm new to working on cars so this is the first time I'm hearing about a lot of these parts. Thanks!
@@WillWarner-xq2pd I still haven't hooked up the vacuum advance. I need to do a little more reading on it. I'm just about to make a video on how the car is running and other things that I've changed/fixed. It will detail a few of those things.
Nothing like a hatch to put a smile on your face. 😎
Going to be doing this soon. Thanks for the video!
Sure thing. If you have any questions, just ask. And good luck!

What fuel injection system did you switch to?

It looks very fun! congrats on getting it to run!
hey just out of curiosity, whats the story with the sunroof?
Thanks!
The sunroof works. I'm not sure if it's aftermarket or what.
15-20psi isn't too extreme, but I would probably replace the zip ties with wire or a small metal spring clamp just for reliability.
Probably a good idea.
Sounds like you're in the medical field, cool car!
Thanks! I was doing medical stuff for a bit.
