Just picked up a 1982 Toyota Tercel. Carb looks like rats been chewing on it. Could find a good diagram for the endless vacuum hoses. Found your video and ordered a Weber. Just hoping I can get it installed correctly. 😅

Great car I've owned three last generation Tercels the last two people destroyed driving recklessly. I've drove in many of the older ones many of my friends growing up couldn't afford fancy cars. Oh the places the Tercel has taken us one of Toyotas best cars.

Solid, I would recommend you throw in a fuel pressure regulator after that pump though. The carbs are meant for 3.5-4 the pumps pushing 7. Gonna blow some seals later on down the road.

Help! I watched the video before swapping out my carburetor. I took out the vacuum lines indiscriminately and now I have no vacuum for the 3 vacuum lines that connect to the distributor.
I see that there is a vacuum port on the carburetor…
    Not sure what to do.
Convert the distributor to mechanical advance?
    What did you do?

On 8:40 . that chrome plate where the air filter sits on . there is a 1 centimetres circle hole . if you don't cover it . then the air filter is useless.
