You know what I love most about your vlogs (and there's a LOT) . . . is how you introduce to us and mingle with the locals. It just adds that extra intimate flavor of the gr8 places you choose along the way. I'm excited for you upcoming adventures. Can't wait to get started. . . but . . . meantime . . . I'm having fun in CR with ya'll.
its the best way finding different travel partners..friends are people you might not see for 10 years but can still take up from the conversation you left on..
trick is to have a pump with you and deflate tyres on steep climbs. By fully deflating tyres I managed to get a car out from a muddy ditch where guy tried it for almost an hour to get it out, tyres were just spinning. And it is also about weight distribution, you should be able to lift rear end significantly to get more weight to front, to have more traction. Motorcycle at the back end is also a huge issue on steep climbs, it would help if you get it off.
The 4 wheel drive makes all the difference! That waterfall was simply amazing! The way that it had little pools before starting another falls! I know that you have had several problems with the motorcycle carrier on the van but if there was anyway that you could move it to the front I believe that it would help you in climbing these steep grades.
You two are living the dream. I thoroughly enjoy your videos, cinematography is just perfect, the music is perfect for the situation, Frank is awesome, Allie is such a beautiful person, you treat her great (as you should), you seriously could have your own Netflix series! I actually wish the episodes were longer! You two are essentially great together! Treat her like a queen and she'll never stray or have eyes for someone else. If this stops... You'll crush her heart... Don't do that. 👍😊
many many moons ago ... lots of trails and no roads. Point A to B with the steep on occasion one learned with poor weight distribution over the drive wheels to .... back up. It's all about the weight on your driving wheels.... lol
what a beautiful day all in all! The drone shots were Epic and I loved the slowing of the lapping waves....you are the First video channel I check out.I even watch them again.4 wheel drive is an absolute essential in The Caribbean.I drove on roads everyday like the one you finally mastered. The rains just undermine any tarmac but what a view they have!
Another great video I couldn’t choose one specific place but I can say where ever you go you show the best of the little things and that is what counts thank you Laura T ....St Louis MO USA 🇺🇸
I too wonder what happened to the idea if travelling with NM to south america? Your four personalities created a nice balance that I have not yet felt since the four of you went seperate ways.
The whole video I thought you were meeting back up with Nomadic Movement. Not gonna lie. My heart dropped a bit. I've always wanted to go to New Zealand and Ireland.
I'm sure you have summed up the NM just about right since you know them so well. How can you make such negative comments like that here on social media? These are young people living their dream and I say kudos to all , for taking the chance in other countries that can truly be dangerous if not careful. We are all intitled to an opinion and so now you have shown your true colors. If I don't like what I see here I just find something else to watch, I could never say the words you used to describe the NM. There are other channels that I would like to tell them what I think although I don't want to look like an ass for judging someone else's channel. Have a wonderful day
That's so cool. I attended a similar one with a local band years ago. It was a planned tour of their gigs for 10 days. It was like being roadies for 10 days. Hope you guys pick get some awesome ideas
Have you guys tried turning off the ECS (Electronic Stability Control) when you are having traction problems? Often this system will cause more issue that it helps. It will be trying to apply the brake to slipping wheel, but often is too slow to react and ends up braking traction wheel as you are bouncing over the potholes. Turning it off has helped me a lot in those conditions.
Wow, what a beautiful thought. How I wish I could get in on the adventure of a lifetime, and be a traveling companion. I have to leave it for you, young folks. Thank you for the beautiful vlog, you two are the best. Happy Trails Love & Peace
Beatufy waterfalls. Where exactly is that place. I suggest to upgrade to Mud tires on your van fo off road. Regular tires don't on a bad terrain. Thank you guys. Love U. Lakewood. California
They took the motorcycle off, I think the rest of the weight in the back is just garage stuff, bed, and water tanks, which I am thinking would be complicated to lug up the hill once the van is up there.
This video had my full attention all the way through. From the awesome drone shots, the water falls and jumping hole to the beautiful home that you stayed at, not to mention me grinding my teeth to help you get up the mountain side.
Lots of experience driving in difficult scenarios... chains, air out of tires, weight distribution and the common theme i see with you specifically going up mountains or sand on a beach... it appears you almost always let off the gas... as soon as you let off the gas it's a wrap... keep those wheels moving good sir... love the videos you guys do great stuff thanks for sharing... 😁
I know this is a little late but you should try Mt. Graham , Mt. Lemmon or the Three Sisters Peak. They are all in Arizona. Now that you both are back in the US, maybe you can check them out.
Awesome video!!! I can't swim but if I could I don't think I could ever jump off a cliff like you did Trent. You guys looked like y'all had an awesome visit and the host were so cool to accommodate y'all with food and such. Australia has to be in the running of places to go.
The opening to this vid' was once again beautiful in fact breath taking.... I so want to start my travels again. Allie, your face going up that hill was so funny yet I totally felt how scary the situation was.... let's call it nervous laughter. Take care guys be safe. 💙
Oh my god those roads seem like a nightmare, reminds me of that film deliverance with Burt Reynolds allie’s face at one time she looked terrified, Aw franks enjoying himself you always seem to find some fantastic waterfalls and forest trails, I love travelling with you everything is very interesting no matter where you go I will be coming along so thank you very much for the adventure so god bless and take care xx
Another great video thanks for bringing me along. Oh yeah stay away from those spiders they can ruin your day. Stay safe have a great day will see you on the next one.
Trent must have been brilliant for about 30 mins. after that electrical shock. LOL Sorry Trent couldn't help myself! Great video! Made my day much better!
I understand your frustration regarding the park but you turned a lemon into lemon aid w/ your journey! You guys are great and a great inspiration to many!! Keep up the adventure!! 👍
D’know what kids - and I don’t mean anything disrespectful by that, I’ll be 70, Sept 8 2019, I so wish I’d had the opportunity and moreover, the balls, to embark on such an adventure as you young people have undertaken. You really are an inspiration. Trent & Allie just keep going 👍
You have to see Colombia! It’s amazingly beautiful with nature, colonial architecture, and crazy huge shopping malls in Medellin!! The coffee countryside is beautiful and that’s about 2 hrs outside of Medellin. Cartagena is far away but if you can make it, just be more careful in that area.
It's been years since I have seen a bannana spider. I lived in Japan for 2 and a half years and we had them everywhere my little sister would name the ones that made webs on our house.
Good thing it ended up being a harmless spider seeing as the third time is the charm! Would love to travel with you but I have a service dog who draws the line at zip lining
That's awesome, I loved the mountain top property looks like they had rain water catchment system so in love. The new trip is a great idea I hope I can go!
Why don’t you turn around and back up those shorter legs that give you problems. Put the drive wheels in back and shift the weight to the down hill side of the van. Another thought, get a winch. Sometimes snow cables or chains work on muddy slopes for me. Stay safe, love your adventures!
A friend to me had an american friend visiting in Sweden one summer, we have electric fence here in Sweden and he is from a big city and never seen cattle running free on the field... OH MY GOD.... LOOK COWS and he ran like crazy over the road and grabbed the fence... It was hilarious when he got an electric shock 🤣
Go to the Tonga! Or maybe the serengiti! What about hook up with the Wynn’s, and sail somewhere remote... swim with the rays ... omg the possibilities are endless... the bucket list family has some great ideas ... omg I won’t sleep til you get this out thwre
@Dii Kwadd why do you bother to troll these two? They are young adults traveling transcontinental for the first time. Maybe you should get out more and learn to say nice things to others than be a troll. If you don’t like them, don’t watch this channel. Have a good day.
@Dii Kwadd it’s RUclips is a full time job, they knew the risks of getting on board. I agree with you on the aspects of enjoying the adventure and embracing the romance of engagement. Spending time off camera is a must, but they have video quota deadlines to meet. RUclips is a business and they are both grossly dependent on the income potential and the Amazon affiliate program. They are risking everything to make this channel work because VanLife is so popular and digital nomads are trending. It’s their business, they are very young and still learning. I trust they know when to put the lense down and cuddle. I doubt they feel enslaved to produce videos weekly. They look mighty happy and enjoy documenting their excursions, they don’t seem burned out yet.
@Dii Kwadd your travel philosophy is different than their’s. No need to judge them for following trends, they chose RUclips as a business just like people investing in franchises. Quit being so negative towards their business decision to be digital nomads. It’s their dream, not your’s. Their success, not your’s. Their channel, their life....all not your’s. Maybe you should focus on yourself and quit projecting onto Trent & Allie. Leave them be, you’re not their parents. Let them run their RUclips business, it’s not your’s. Work on yourself, envy is not good.
Dii Kwadd you don’t need to watch their channel or be concerned with their funding sources of corporate sponsors. If you hate the peddled sponsored ads, don’t watch RUclips VanLifers because they all need to endorse product for a paycheck. Every episode is an infomercial of product placement, that’s why RUclips is for marketing influencers who endorse on their channel. The last thing a true fan of Trent & Allie would do is condemn their lifestyle choices and claim it’s “advice”. You are no fan of this channel, attacking them on their vlog forum makes you an envious ass. Don’t lie to yourself, you are addicted to their success. If you choose to stay on this channel commenting, be kind. They don’t need negative, envious nay-sayers like like you in their community. Work on your life and build your own van, then broadcast it on your own channel before heckling this young couple with derogatory remarks . You think you’re so smart, give me your channel name and let me see your content. Let’s see if you earned some free Colombian coffee for being a content creator on RUclips.
Love your travels This is just a suggestion for you next time you cant make it up a hill Try turning around and backing up the hill it turns a front wheel drive into a rear wheel drive If you don't have far to go it will work
I think a bigger engine vehicle would eliminate your hill problems...or less weight on the vehicle you have. It is scary for me to watch, I can imagine how it is for you guys. Thanks for sharing your adventures and fun. Oh snap, I wrote this before the towing part. YAY
Trent was having a trying day and, if you look closely at 10:04-10:06, he almost gets his head bit by Cesar's dog. Some days are like that but others are much better.
This is great advice - it works well in the snow too. For front wheel drive - going backwards gets the weight on the drive wheels. Less slipping more traction. It works - give it a try! Also - tires matter - nothing better than a good grip.
I'd love to go on an adventure with my 4 legged baby! I'm hoping to buy a van in Sept and have it converted by the end of October. Mom is going along with the idea but I think she thinks I'll change my mind.
You guys are so adventurous and always willing to try anything. You guys are my favorite sub. I hope you come to Washington to Rattlesnake Hills. I would take you around to the wineries here. I think you would like it.
Ok here is a travel idea for you. I think you can park the van for a little over a month. I did this in 2015 it was awesome. Walk the Camino de Santiago. The most common route starts in St. Jean Pied De Port France and ends in Santiago de copistella spelling probably wrong if your not familiar with it watch the movie called the way sets up the journey like no other. You meet people from all over the world that come to do this pilgrimage. It’s a blast I suggest doing the trip in mid to late spring early summer. I guarantee you will have a blast. I’m planning on doing the trip again in 2020 for my 60th Birthday first time was on my 55th Birthday.
I live in Miami Florida it is hot and rainy here now but there is tons of fun stuff to do here.... like going to the Everglades.... you should definitely make a trip over here sometime...... also soon I will be traveling to Belize on a plane and would like to know more about what it's like..... love your videos btw
Nova Scotia is an awesome place to travel in a motorcoach🚐 my husband and I travel there twice. You can take the Cat Ferry to Yarmouth. The land is so serene and beautiful 💕 you both would enjoy so much😀 I love being on all your journeys, love you both❤️ God bless you 🙏🚐
Do you guys air down the tires before you try and send it up the hill? You should air down before you send it... And then send it a little slower, at a speed that you can keep consistently without braking or letting off the gas regardless of the terrain.
Great video and glad to see you're making friends! What a cool way to plan your next adventure! I filled out the survey, but it's just a dream for me at the moment. I have yet to find a job to even save for a budget I proposed there. It's just nice to think about it. Best of luck on the road and planning your next adventure!
Hahahahaha this video is hilarious! You know after something happens and you know there was no injury or emergency that's when you can laugh. The sound Trent made when getting electrocuted, OMG! So glad your alright but now I crack up watching it! Love u guys!
my first trip in the same van was in a small forrest..same as you guys, but the bikes held you back..not centre waited any longer because its an add on to the van..its acting like a ballast...
come to Australia bring the van and frank of course. It could be tour downunder. drive around the place it could take easily over a year with so much to explore.

Allie's face on that mountain road, omg I love it!
When you kids get old and gray one thing you'll be able to say is "we didn't leave much on the table", really good stuff!
Any chance of a 'Tough roads lead to great adventures ' ~Trent & Allie Tshirt? BEST. QUOTE. EVER.
Lisa Hook yeah, I just need this tshirt for life in general! 😐😂😊
The steps leading up inside Beyonca's cabin are so cool !!!!
Love the drone footage of the beach & waves !!! Stay safe you 2 !! 🙂😎🤟
its the best way finding different travel partners..friends are people you might not see for 10 years but can still take up from the conversation you left on..
You should tour western Canada. British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. You would be surprised.
I bet they will when COVID is over. I have loved all my trips to Canada.
It’s been so much fun looking back at your earlier videos.
Trent, your Guardian Angel is overworked!
😂🤣

I had no idea you could feed grass to butter. Lol!
DOT2DOT InTexas tooooooo funny. !!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahahahaha

Oh the beautiful flowing waterfalls
Should have backed up the hill, fake rear wheel drive 😁. I'm waiting for the 2020 Transit AWD.
J.G. Conumdrum very smart advice....now that’s thinking like true off-roader!!!!

I'm with you. New Zealand and Ireland/Scotland would be awsome.
I agree, the unique combination of the two groups over the past months since they started their adventures have created the larger audience.
I'm sure you have summed up the NM just about right since you know them so well. How can you make such negative comments like that here on social media? They didn’t take it off the time the time he failed to get to the top when it was wet.
I agree...possibly better tires as well. If they have smooth tires they would also be a problem. Letting some air out of tires helps as well.
Frank...photobomb at @4:20 ......Love that dog.....he's checkn out the flow for his next set ; )
Lol when Trent got zapped~~ It’s because he’s fire 🔥 lol
Loved the expressions on Allie’s face when you were trying to get to your friend’s house...priceless!!!
You guys are making the most amazing videos and memories... thank you for sharing... safe travels and have fun.
South America. Sooo much to see, still. Check out Max and Lee. Such fantastic country.
Mount that bike on the front of the van, turn off traction control(maybe), and air down tires.

U 2 are my favorite travel couple! Stay safe!
Crazy how Pamela and my Jeep have the same engine. The Jeep has no problem going most places. Oh but there's no way I could sleep in it.
Nova Scotia is an awesome place to travel in a motorcoach🚐 my husband and I travel there twice. You can take the Cat Ferry to Yarmouth. The land is so serene and beautiful 💕 you both would enjoy so much😀 I love being on all your journeys, love you both❤️ God bless you 🙏🚐
You guys are totally making me want a 4X4 Van.
I wish I could travel! I had to give up trucking because of my kidneys. Whoever gets to travel with you will have a blast!❤️😍🙌👍😎
Do you guys air down the tires before you try and send it up the hill? You should air down before you send it... And then send it a little slower, at a speed that you can keep consistently without braking or letting off the gas regardless of the terrain.
Looks like my drive home in rainy season...all roads go bad in rainy season.
Hi guys! So, it depends on the destination as to when to go. Since weather/season is different in each country
