Aerosmith rabbit hole: "Train Kept A Rollin' " (a cover), "Movin' Out", "Lord Of The Thighs", "S.O.S. (Too Bad)", "No More No More", "Walk This Way" (the original), "Back In The Saddle", "Last Child", "Rats In The Cellar", "Combination", "Seasons Of Wither". That's a start.

I’m just happy I’ve seen them live a couple times in their prime and that Aerosmith is going out on their own terms. It sux but it’s worse when people start using more background vocals than normal and the true music gets lost. I have so much respect for them. I’m lucky to be from Boston and even got to see them when they did a pop up concert on the porch of their old house in Allston,Ma I took 2 trains to get there cuz so many streets were shut down then walked close to 3 miles. It was literally the chance of a lifetime. Aerosmith Forever

I grew up on Aerosmith of the 90s. You probably heard those songs before. Then one day, my pops was listening to a greatest rock songs countdown on the radio, and I heard this song. He told me who it was, and I didn’t believe him until he started screeching at the end. Then I picked up a couple of their earlier albums from the 70s and 80s, and I loved it. A different era for them, they really rocked back then. Songs like Same Old Song and Dance, Back in the Saddle, Mama Kin. Great stuff!

Postmodern Jukebox covered this song with a female singer (Morgan James) and with a jazzy reinterpretation of it. And it works surprisingly well in that genre. Also the vocalist is out of this world. She nails it.

This clip was heavily edited 😫
Aerosmith is basically recognized by the duo of Steven Tyler (lead vocals) and Joe Perry (guitar)... they were dubbed the 'Toxic Twins' because of their excessive drug abuse in the 70's and frequent fights. However, the "less interesting three" (or "L.I.3") of Aerosmith were just as crucial for the band - Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) ... helped define their sound.
The public misconception is that Joe Perry is Aerosmith's lead guitarist and Brad Whitford is the rhythm guitarist... That was never the case. Joe Perry was the band's key composer/ songwriter but he and Brad Whitford are a twin lead guitar duo... Perry plays a raw, wild guitar, while Whitford is the technical master and brings cohesion to the guitar delivery.

Tyler’s father was a classical pianist, and young Tyler used to hang out underneath the grand piano when his father played. The intro guitar part is inspired by that.

If you go down the rabbit hole, I recommend you look mostly at the older stuff. It's really when they were at their best, though I suppose it would also be interesting to see how they changed over the years. They are one of the few bands that had hits all the way from the 70s until, I think, the early 2000s. Other bands kept going, but only their real fans usually were aware of their later music. Somehow Aerosmith managed to stay relevant.
