If nothing else, Workspaces and Schedules will help you customize your workflow. Also you can add multiple calendars to keep all your tasks in one place.

This is by far the best motion explanation. So sad that I had to watch 10 other videos first until I found this.

Thank you for your videos on the Motion app. What would be the best way to use it as a family calendar where I could see the overall but also filter it by each family member as well? Would I use colors, workspaces, labels, or projects? I appreciate your help.

This is a good, thought provoking question. My answer is a bit fuzzy since I believe it is down to how your brain works. Personally I prefer workspaces. The reason for that is right now tasks do not color code only events. Workspaces help me create a mental distinction that I need as an ADHD person.

Hi, great tutorial! Question for you. Overall, how are you liking motion to schedule tasks? I’m specifically looking for some thing that will schedule and reschedule my to do list as needed. Everything I find so far is simply a to do list maker and that’s not what I need. This seems like it’s going to fit the bill, but I’m wondering how you like it and have you tried anything else along these lines that I may want to check out?

Hi, I have had a good experience with motion because it does reorganize my tasks when I get behind or when I am running ahead of schedule. The one thing I could be better at is estimating the time things will take, but that is a me problem not a Motion problem. I mention this because if I estimate my time correctly Motion will tell move things to another day when I put to many things on the schedule.
I have tried use Reclaim which is a tool that is very similar (suggested by another viewer). The problem I found with that one is you cannot put calendar invites directly on the Reclaim calendar. What this means is I put invites in one software and tasks in Reclaim. If you ask me to use too many tools my ADHD brain says NOPE. If you don't mind using two software tools Reclaim is fine for the AI help keep tasks organized and move them around bit.
