I do not know about you but i prefer the trauma of hearing the aoe monk sound and being able to panic click my unit away. Rather then hearing an normal alarm sound followed by a loud AAAAAYOOOOOOOOO! Knowing that i just lost some unit on the map somewhere to this old dude while still having no clue where he is due to line of sight being gone from him the moment he converts the target. And honestly that paranoia that i do not know where he is until he tries again makes it way more traumatizing to me then the aoe 2 sound.
Literally the worst. Being attacked hurt, but could be ignored/rationalized. Monks would have be diving all across the map, just to finally find my own knight curb stomping his former archer friends
