What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Escalade: The Full Size Luxury SUV still has it going these days, even with sky rocketing gas prices and dismal fuel economy there is still consumers who want these dinosaurs. The Escalade is one of the mammoths in this segment and is one of the best selling ones. Power in the Escalade comes from a 6.2 L V8 made into a 6-Speed Automatic with 4-Wheel Drive. On the interior you will find a very luxurious cabin with nice rich materials and a great amount of room up front and the rear (2nd Row Only). We love the long list of standard features the Escalade offers and we love the nice gusty V8, However with that heavy duty V8 made exclusively for the Escalade, it has very low fuel economy, however every full size SUV has dismal fuel economy. Compared to the Escalade's competitors the Navigator is too pricey and doesn't offer the features the Cadillac offers, however we really love the Infiniti QX56 and we think it's a little more inviting on the interior and has more rich materials. Is the Escalde worth purchasing now? Well it depends if you really love the Escalade and you're a Cadillac enthusiast and you need a Escalade soon. However otherwise the 2013 Escalade can wait as the next generation will be coming out less than you can run to your nearest grocery store.

This is personally one of my favorite generation escalades. My dad wants this instead of his 2007 hyundai elantra, and get a 2012 cadillac escalade esv.

I like the fact that you show prices and competitors. some other reviewers don't do that. and you have the radio on, but very low and not that long, that's also great, I hate that when they radio is on it's very distracting. it could be a base radio or a 50,000 dollar system, it all sounds the same on youtube.... keep up the great videos!!!
I like the black on black on these Escalade as the Lincoln Navigator. I've been debating buying one of these which I like this body style better than the 2019 design.

I have a '13 Escalade Luxury model. The fact that the steering wheel doesn't have a telescoping option is puzzling. 6:59 I once had an '03 Seville STS which had a power telescoping feature _and_ basic climate control buttons on the steering wheel. I don't understand how they regressed in that regard.

This is a 2012 model. GM upgraded the Navigation & Infotainment system in 2013. This has the old software....

I came here to find out if these things have push button.. and it doesnt. Even though this is like the number one stolen car they still have no push to start. Even the sentra has it... and since theres remote start it wouldnt cost them much to have push to start... SMH.

Because the (3rd generation) Cadillac Escalade initiated in 2007 to 2014, regardless of specific trims (Base, Luxury, and Platinum), each additional Escalade was only equipped with Bluetooth until the current generation debuted back in 2014, as a 2015 MY that gained voice commands, as well as Bluetooth hands-free. I can guarantee you a 2012 Cadillac Escalade Platinum doesn't have voice commands because what you here in a 2012 Escalade is a voice for Bluetooth that says "Bluetooth ready".

camthegreat. I suppose you have not seen a car with high quality interior. That thing is horrid. It's so easy to see that leather is so low quality it beggers belief. Why would you buy an Escalade after seeing this? What a classless hunk of junk. That interior is absolutely horrid, plasticy and with a bad ugly layout. Wood grain and leather? Haha, right. Best looking front end? No!
Get a Range Rover if you want something that actually has class and style, drives well, has a real leather/wood interior, and CAN go off road if needed be.
