That honestly made me think this song was about moving on from a relationship that turned sour and not giving two shits about your partner anymore. Then, I stumbled across this video and the lyrics actually read, "I'm caught in a hurricane, I'm leaving here dead or alive." Wow, not to mention, "Hurt Hurricane," as if that were the name of the actual hurricane. This is so deep, I love it when this track comes on.

Also one of the reasons so many people love this song is the part that comes in at 2:44 is really close to an instrumental used in the movie the crow its from the part where the little girl is walking around in Eric and Shelly's apartment about half way through the movie. The melody kind of sticks with you when you hear it and when I heard Hurricane I was like thats just like that cool melody from the Crow. If you ever thought something about the song sounds familiar thats it :)

I worked with him for a few years and used to give him rides home after work. Then find out he and this person murdered her ex and stole drugs from him. I ended up meeting his sister a year or so later at a BBQ in Beaumont and it was just sad dude.
I knew this was about a breakup the first I heard it and during my divorce I looked it up, sure enough Tyler wrote it during his divorce. Perfectly described how I felt during my divorce and currently.
