    I feel like you are talking to me knowing my main issue which is to be able to bend my knee. Thank you so much for your brilliant methods. I will definitely start using it.

    Thank you for all your videos! They have been very helpful. I am sure I speak for many when I say, I which you were located in Maryland. This Wed. I will be 3 weeks post op. My first PT app. My flexion was 60 degrees, now almost three weeks out, my flexion has not changed from 60 degrees. It feels as if there is a block that stops it from moving. I am very anxious about not having any movement after 4 PT appointments and all the work I am putting into getting it to move. When I try to do the heal slides, the knee does not hardly move. I am going to try to work the quad as you are mentioning in this video! Again, thank you so much for all that you do to educate us!

    I wish that physical therapists here locally would explain what they are doing and why. I think it would make a big difference in recovery and getting a person back on track. Thank you Anthony for all of your very helpful videos. JoAnn

    Absolutely brilliant advice 'for me'. The pain I have is in the back of leg and behind knee when I try to bend which is the obviously the hamstring protesting!! I am around 95 on my bend at 8 weeks and cannot get any further without the rear pain... so these excercises are a great thing to try! Thanks so much! X

      Do you know if you have a baker's cyst? Also, some patients get a pinching pain due to the implant pinching the soft tissue behind the knee. On my other channel I shared a video that talked about ways to reduce the pinching behind the knee.

    Greeting sir Orthoscopic surgery was done for knee bending. Suggest some tablets or something along with stiff knee exercises to reduce daily stiffness and reduce the process of adhesion regeneration. I exercise three times a day and when I start exercising again, my knees become stiff. It's been 45 days since I started exercising. The knee bends 120 degrees due to exercise but then becomes stiff again and the pain lasts the whole day.

    Hi I am five weeks after TKR i am at 115 degrees of movement I’m also one of the ones that you mentioned about doing it by physically pulling my leg backwards until the pain was unbearable I’m going to try your method and I was also using the gravity method also my therapists are pleased with my progress thank you

      Mike, you are very lucky to be able to bend your knee at 115 in five weeks of your surgery. Today is my fifth weeks after me left TKA however I can bend it only at 90 degrees. I will turn 50 years old in two days. I found this video very helpful.

    Appreciate the tip re: using hamstring to further flex the knee. I'm nearly 7 weeks post-TKR (rt knee) and I'll start doing what you suggest. Thank you!

    Thanks so much, really apprectiate your videos! I had a partial knee replacement 4 weeks ago. My knee flexion is max 115 to 120. On the heel slide a sharp pain right in front of my knee, patella? Should I be concerned? Thanks again. Tom

      @ChoosePT1st  6 месяцев назад

      Hi Tom, not sure if you reached out to me but I rarely get messages. Sounds like you are doing great. A sharp pain at front of knee is usually either a patellar tendonitis issue (most common) or a sensitivity under the patella on the bone. It is not usually a sign of any problem but it is frustrating for sure. Are you working with a physical therapist now? What does your therapist suggest?

    Fell 32 hours after total knee replacement. Nothing ripped apart but the muscle is still sore going on week 4. I am going to implement your technique

    I know my comment goes beyond the scope of physical therapy. My husband had knee replacement 6 days ago and I'm so worried about him. He had to take STD from work and I must work (4) 14 hour days weekly to keep us afloat financially. I don't mind working, but I feel very bad about being away from him those four days. He doesn't want me to hire a caregiver. Unfortunately, he is not eating much, bas not had a bm since date of surgery, and he cannot sleep. He was so angry after PT because he thinks the therapists don't care about his pain and expect him to do too much to early on.

      I had knee ret4 weeks ago, and yes, still very painful. I didn’t care to eat either in the beginning but soups and broth helps. Pain killers will cause you to lose your appetite and back your plumbing up. Best to get milk of magnesia as the nurse recommended me to do, it helps. Also, try cutting back on the opioids by adding Tylenol if he’s allergic to ibuprofen with just one tablet of opioid. Ice packs, very frequently and elevate, and massage. I’m pressing on because I want to walk again and enjoy life with my husband. I pray your husband won’t quit 🙏🏼

      Hi Regina, sorry to hear about your husband's experience. I would definitely try to make some changes and talk to the surgeon's team about the constipation. It will feel so much better and bowel function normalizes. I see you shared this post about a week ago. How is he doing now?

Hope it helps him

    I've been watching your videos for about 6 mos, when I found your website...
    Have you seen any patients whose medial hamstring tendon is "snapping" in and out when I bend and extend my leg from a sitting position ? I'm doing more hamstring exercises and still work on my bend 2-3 xd...My surgeon gave me some sort of cortisone injection 3 wks ago and will see me again on June 10...he said in his 30 yrs as orthopedic surgeon he has maybe seen this 2-3 times and may want to go in Arthroscopically to see what's going on...I hate to think of this after 9 mos of healing after TNR....thank you
