You must allow them to access it. However, you still own the land. In front of my home I have a AT&T internet box for my entire street. I must allow AT&T to access it. I have a city ordnance that says I can not block it with a fence. But the land it sits on is still mine.

I have the power company that comes on my property from time to time to check/fix the power poles. I MUST give them access, but it's still my land. An easement works on the same principal. I must allow them to access on the sidewalk, or edge of my grass, if there is no city/county/public sidewalk. It must be allowed for people to walk on, but I still own it.

I just love the silent videos. I once watched a dude stand a very safe distance from a prison with a costume, no way to identify. Prison people showed up, piglets rolled in. He never said one word and it was a glorious meltdown, then they finally had to walk away. He was standing on public property.
Why cant we send this video to all police. This cop should be a chief somewhere. What an excellent job the officer did even went as far as to make sure you couldnt see his computer screen. Also look how fast and smooth the interaction was. The way it should always go when exercising rights.
I am actually nonverbal from throat cancer and I’m seriously thinking of doing audits. The only bad thing is I live in WV and most LEOs don’t have body cameras. That could be bad news for me.

Other than the cop not quite understanding that the auditors goal was for him NOT to violate his rights, but instead do exactly what he did! This is how all cops should behave when they get calls for suspicious behaviour but have no proof of a crime being committed. Other cops watching should see this one and follow his amazing example. I like audit videos so much more when the police do the right thing because that’s the kind of world I want to live in. Not the world where a cop pulls her gun on you during a basic traffic stop. I pulled up the GIS on this. The owners are way off on where the property line is. They actually dont own any (or very little) of that entire grass corner. Give it a look if interested. Plenty of free apps that show land lines.

In most places property owners are required to maintain the swale ( between sidewalks and street) even though it’s public property.

The truck is parked in the handicap spot. The hashed area adjacent to the actual parking spot is for ramp / lift / unloading / access of a wheelchair.
