Having a problem in my 09 ls cobalt (automatic transmission) it shifts from 1st into 2nd fine but then the transition from 2nd to 3rd never happens it just Revs to the moon and when I let off the throttle it slowly declines in rpm almost like a harsh engine breaking. Any suggestions?
I have similar issues, could possibly need a new clutch pack, which is what I plan to do with my 4T45e. I've been looking for "performance" clutch discs that can at least handle a higher torque output, and possibly putting a 3800 torque converter in as well. I recommend replacing your transmission filter and fluid and see if that changes anything, which I had done, but hasn't changed any of my issues.
