i really enjoyed this, i read trough it in ONE DAY. i was just hooked, and i don't know if i want to admit it, but it made me cry at the end. edit: i am not even the crying type, it was the first time in a year or so. that really shows how deeply i connected with the story.
Note: The Netflix adaptation is quite different from the WEBTOON. I think the Netflix series draws more towards the action and violence Sweet Home can bring, while the WEBTOON brings out the inner struggles and character development of all the characters,
It was ok, definitely a lot better than how live actions usually turn out. Dont think it was better than the manhwa, and I think they overuse the Warrior song WAAAY too much. I almost started to hate hearing it after xD

It is explained in the manhwa pretty late on. If you dont want to get spoilered, do not read past this point. . . . . . . . Basically, the inner monsters are the persons souls which are packed with desires. If I understood it right they don't want to deal with the humans desires anymore, so they grant them, by turbing the people into mpnsters and locking them up in their minds in a perfect world created by those very souls which will fulfill their desire until they are satisfied/bored from it (e.g. the mother is locked in a world were she has her baby girl back again). The form of the monster reflects that desire (e.g. the mother turned into an embryo). By fulfilling the desires of the people to this point of satisfaction, they loose, at some point their desires and along with them their emotions and become "evolved" "perfect" humans, which is the goal of the souls revolution. Basically, very close to the beginning of the story they showed broadcasts with people speculating what the cause of monsterization is and two people hit it pretty well. A philosophist who said that the monster form is the desires which we supress and then at some point just explode out of the people and a conspiracist who interprets it as "human evolution with a much faster pace". However, it raises the question why other people never turn, like Jisu or Wook. It is not said, at some point it is hinted when one of the evolved humans tells another person " you are not chosen" (to become a monster/to evolve). I can only speculate regarding this, but my guess would be that it depends on how much you accepted your desire or inner monster. Maybe some people just don't have a desire which is impossible, or they just accept this desire and live with it while other characters cannot live without it (being fulfilled). I also think Hyun could have withstanded monsterization completely, since he could resist the monster within so long and at the end he basically sacrificed himself, and became a monster by giving in to his desire to protect the others with the newly gained strength and the little pieces of consciousness left he had when turning. This and bastard are my Fav Manhwa I enjoyed Sweet Home more than Bastard but I can't decide which has the better story in the two I enjoyed this more than Bastard because its similar to The Walking Dead and I love The Walking Dead Video Games its my Fav. Video Game Series. Also the Characters are The Best Part.
I hope one day the Webtoons will get their own manga in physical form.
I'd be surprised is some haven't had some physical format to them yet. At least for personal use from creators or something.
