Pure skills my ass. You can't do this with any drone. It has to have a very low latency, high mobility, high quality live feed, etc. Give one of these "pure skilled" drone pilots a much cheaper drone and let's see how they do.

THIS VIDEO IS 5 YEARS OLD (also the live feed isnt that quality on most analog setups which they were definetly running back in 2015) the secret is acro mode no stabilisation. You could do this with a 200 dollar drone

That's a very subjective and personal question bro. And difficult one, with no real definitive answer. Theres just so many out there and more each day and making advancements all the time and they have different purposes and different strengths and weaknesses etc.... plus most people who start advancing will start building their own drones to the specific parameters they're looking for in that drone, and always upgrading or modifying them. And usually have several or many drones and projects.
We owe a lot to these guys who showed us what was possible even with much more difficult to fly and less durable quads. These pilots are pioneers

It's 2021 and whilst the drones look funny to me, the flying and video uses many of the moves we see in the styles of today.
Having a drone like this is awesome. But for people who are not interested in technical assemblies, DJI FPV does the job. Cool drone.
or you can just get a BNF(Bind and Fly) from a company like IFlight for performance that is miles better than DJI
or build one

These are great for beginners but when you finally fly a fpv racing drone its a whole different animal of speed.

You might consider lowering your sensitivity on your controller for pitch and others. More control during the turns etc. (it helped me a lot)
