    Thanks for this informative video for bringing us together. Our history of the countries of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand went to our ancestors for many centuries. Our culture has always been colonized by Westerners. We are going a long way back to our history. It is about time to promote peace, and solidarity and to live side by side with one another for the sake of our children for many generations to come. 🇻🇳❤🇰🇭❤ 🇹🇭 ❤🎉

      I completely understand and share your concerns. Khmer history is rich and powerful, but it's also marked by challenges and hardships that have deeply affected the country and its people. The feeling of losing land and facing external pressures is something many Cambodians resonate with, especially given our long history of wars and territorial disputes.
      I also believe that having a strong government that truly prioritizes the well-being of the people and protects our nation's interests is essential. Unity, respect, and preserving our heritage are key to moving forward. Let’s continue to hope and work towards a future where Khmer culture thrives, and our sovereignty and people are respected by all.

    The animosity between neighbours is a result of colonisation, and annexation. Could not agree more.

    • @chamnap2990
      @chamnap2990 29 дней назад +1

      Wrong...animosity between neighbors as far as Cambodia and Thailand was about 800 years ago. And with Vietnam and Cambodia, close to 300 years ago. The hatred was way before the colonialism era. Matter of fact, colonialism save Cambodia, thank to France.

      Thank you for sharing such a positive and unifying message! The idea that we are stronger together is a powerful sentiment, and it holds true, especially in today’s interconnected world. Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and the ASEAN region as a whole have immense potential when we focus on collaboration and mutual respect.
      By working together, we can:
      Strengthen Regional Economies: Through trade, investment, and innovation, Southeast Asia can become a formidable economic bloc, capable of competing on the global stage, including with larger powers like China.
      Preserve and Share Culture: Our shared cultural roots and diversity are a treasure. By celebrating and protecting our unique identities, we can build a richer and more vibrant ASEAN community.
      Enhance Security and Stability: Regional cooperation ensures peace, allowing us to address challenges together, whether they’re economic, environmental, or political.
      Showcase Unity: A united Southeast Asia sends a strong message to the world-strength through unity and a commitment to progress and peace.
      Love and respect are the foundations for meaningful collaboration. With open hearts and minds, we can achieve great things together. Thank you for your positivity-let’s continue building a brighter future for all of us in the region!

    A bad marriage proposal.

    • @sparkseed007
      @sparkseed007  Месяц назад +2

      Such a "marriage proposal" among Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam might indeed feel like a bad match given the complex history and tensions among these nations. However, instead of framing it as a negative scenario, let’s consider why such a union could be problematic and how to address the underlying dynamics constructively.
      Why It Feels Like a "Bad Marriage":
      Historical Conflicts: The centuries of territorial disputes, invasions, and cultural clashes have left deep scars, making trust a significant challenge.
      Power Imbalances: Cambodia, with its smaller population and economy, might fear being overshadowed by its larger neighbors.
      Diverging Interests: Each country's priorities often differ-Vietnam’s political strategies, Thailand’s economic ambitions, and Cambodia’s focus on sovereignty and cultural preservation don’t always align.
      Cultural Sensitivities: Attempts to blend or cooperate might unintentionally lead to the erasure or misrepresentation of Khmai identity and heritage.
      How to Approach the "Proposal" Wisely:
      Instead of rejecting outright, Cambodia could use such discussions as opportunities to assert its values and promote mutual respect:
      Set Clear Boundaries: Just like in a relationship, respect starts with clarity. Cambodia can establish non-negotiable principles, such as the protection of its sovereignty and heritage.
      Promote Equality: For any partnership to work, all parties must be treated as equals. Cambodia must demand that its voice carries equal weight in any agreements.
      Focus on Common Goals: Economic growth, environmental protection, and regional stability are shared goals. By emphasizing areas of mutual benefit, Cambodia can work towards cooperation without compromising its identity.
      While a "marriage" might feel inappropriate, a respectful and balanced partnership among these nations-built on diplomacy, mutual understanding, and cultural appreciation-could pave the way for peace and prosperity in the region. It’s all about finding ways to collaborate while staying true to who we are.

      Thank you for pointing that out! I appreciate your feedback. I decided to focus on certain countries in this video because Laos has maintained strong relationships with many of its neighbors, which reflects a different dynamic in the region. However, I recognize the importance of including Laos in conversations about regional prosperity and development, and I’ll be sure to highlight its role in future videos. Thanks again for your support and for keeping me on my toes!

    Let home thai people watch it n no longer look down on Cambodia. We are poorer but we work hard to improve our economy n our country. We even provide over one million workers to help build THAILAND economy.

      Don’t get started on this million work force bullshitting. Thailand will always have workforce from other country if they wanted too.
      Ahmm…. Particularly note here that = Thai definitely don’t shared the same values as Cambodia in human rights oppression.
      The Thai don’t believes in hunsen shitty political in never changing one party unfair voting system. So take them illegally and low skilled workers all back to Cambodia is what Thailand would probably preferred right now.
      Thailand doesn’t need any more Cambodian beggars, human trafficking called center and Cambodian-Chinese criminals coming into the country.
      In fact it is because of the Thai empathy that keeps Cambodia running in economic for decades. Isn’t most western and democratic country banning Cambodian right now from around the world. Get a grip on facts 😮

    Economic development falls heavily on Thailand in carrying their neighboring countries. Unfair in put😮

    • @sparkseed007
      @sparkseed007  4 часа назад

      While Thailand is a significant economic player in the region, the idea that it solely carries neighboring countries oversimplifies the complex interdependence of Southeast Asian economies. Countries like Vietnam and Cambodia have shown impressive economic growth in recent years. For example, Vietnam's economy has been one of the fastest-growing in the world, driven by manufacturing and exports. Cambodia has also seen steady growth, particularly in the garment industry, tourism, and construction sectors.
      Additionally, ASEAN promotes regional cooperation, meaning all member countries contribute to and benefit from shared development goals. While Thailand plays a crucial role, it's important to recognize the mutual contributions and growth across the region.

    • @BeekicchinDaidocoro
      @BeekicchinDaidocoro 4 часа назад

      @ global Cambodia banning, called center human trafficking criminal activities, over 40 years oppressive one political party and continuing. This is pretty hard to work with -not just in the Thai eyes.
      Vietnam has never been in the position where Thailand is in the last thirty years of carrying their three neighboring countries to the max that is far beyond financial and help aids. So it is easier said than done, and most Thai are now fed up from the look of the whole situation. So much so that on their news is given trump a thumb up 👍 on his new policy of American first immigration control.

    • @sparkseed007
      @sparkseed007  4 часа назад

      @ While I agree that Thailand has taken on a significant role in supporting its Southeast Asian neighbors, it's also important to recognize that Thailand has benefited greatly from international trade and its strategic position in the region. The country's strong economy is supported by robust exports, tourism, and foreign investments.
      At the same time, countries like Vietnam and Cambodia have made progress in their own development, contributing to regional growth. Organizations like ASEAN are built to promote mutual cooperation and shared responsibility, rather than placing the burden on any one nation.
      When it comes to immigration policies, each country approaches the issue based on its national interests and priorities. Balancing national policies with regional collaboration is key to addressing these challenges effectively.

      @@sparkseed007 Singaporean just pull out from Myanmar in right of refuge working permit granted within their country and withdrawing eligible right on low skilled seeking to reside, ritually yesterday.
      At the mean time in the last two years =4 million Myanmar refugees and low skilled laborers both legally and illegally are residing in Thailand till date.
      All the sent back unwanted from USA of Southeast Asia heritage, particularly from Lao, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam & etc that’s coming back to their country.
      But unfortunately, Thailand has suddenly become the new home destination for many of these people’s next planned of moved, because Singapore, Malaysia, even the Lower GDP Indonesia have a really strict working permit entering policy.
      Watched the interviewed on people who are connected to those caught and are on the way to being deported or a group that really scared of being sent back because of their USA un-clear status. Following the situation closely from relatable information.
      Loads of listening to podcast & story on social media right now might open that perspective of
      = no country should be left to deal with the problem alone is not in anyway resonating to the ASEAN given pledge whatsoever. In fact = at the minute everyone is out to save themselves because of the USA geoeconomics reform. Though must say that you are very positive.
