This was such a cool episode. I love getting to see footage of the grounds of a distillery. After listening to an interview with Dave Pickerell I have been searching for offerings from them. They don’t come into our state much so they are difficult to find

This makes me want to open my Pennsylvania store pic! Yes PA picks barrels at the Commonwealth level and distributes them all over the state. Doesn’t give too much variety but it’s better than nothing.

Canadian Distilled 10yr Rye, WhistlePig has a lock on that one, very hard to beat that bottle on a price to pour ratio when compared to other juice out there.

I've been sleeping on whistlepig, but this tour makes me sad that I never checked them out when I was living in VT lol. Any recommendation for which whistlepig to try first?

Didn't know it was hard to get, but yes was very good. Should have had a few more!
@@BourbonJunkies It's only hard to get in certain areas of VT I would say. I used to live in winooski and got some every week, still great stuff tho :) Also it helps if you know the day that heady topper shipments arrive haha

No, this isn't open to the public. If you are buying a barrel or Whistlepig donates these events to charities from time to time.

Such a beautiful place that brought me to the upper limit I've ever had with motion sickness, way to many curves there.
I've only had samples of the 10 and 12 year WP at a tasting. The 10 was nice but way too expensive at over $70. The 12 was not enjoyable, way too many flavors going on. I enjoy other rys much more and at under $40 or 50 = HW Double Rye, baby Saz and Davidson Reserve Tennessee Rye. Enjoyed your tour. Dan needed to stand up as the target for the axe throwing, like Ed Ames on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. A real classic!! You guys must be part Injun. Cheers!

Was somewhere around 11k for the white label.
All I know from this video is Sean would make the worst assassin, he can throw an axe but glows in the dark so you can spot him a mile away.
Laughed really hard at this. Don't stand roughly 12 ft away and not move or else I'll chop ya!
