A civilian calling Black Adam “Shazadam” doesn’t mean DC is actually changing his name, especially since that portion was written by Bendis; he loves to give silly dialogue to characters that don’t mean much in the grand scheme of things.

@@collincardot3674 Ah, okay! Yeah, that is Damien’s new look. If you google “Infinite Frontier Batman” you’ll find the Batman teaser image. Damien is in the bottom right in that new outfit, and somewhere in the background is Tim Drake in his Robin outfit.

Shazan should be as overpowered as Martian manhunter but DC has nerfed him in movies and shows. They say they nerf overpowered characters for writing but thats false its because whenever they make cgi moments with overpowered characters it costs more money with damage per set.
This issue was solid, i think it did a good job setting up future storylines. But my god.... Shazadam... I’m going to need to sit down and process this

I'm so bummed out by the fact that Darkseid killed the Quintessence (Phantom Stranger and Spectre are 2 of my absolute favourite characters) but this genuinely looks promising. What I hope is that DC and comics in general are able to survive in the current climate, due to the fact that all of this seems like SO much fun

With Empty Hand is more as another Big event that everything got to end again. And I'd dont believe Wonder woman or someone else got to sacrificed themselves to stop The Empty Hand and save the omniverse at the same time. I believe by adding True form Darkseid might be more interesting because alot of people got different theory about true form Darkseid and of his powers. I just hope the writer dont messed it up.

i think this is getting misread, the woman called him Shazadam the same way parents would call any video game console a "Nintendo" back in the day or still do, she was calling him that probs cause she was mixing up his name with what he shouts. i very much doubt this is the case since Supes refers to him as Black Adam

To be honest , i don't know what to feel when they make Alan Scott gay. He wasn't gay when he was in the original JSA, he was gay during his younger version in earth 2 in the new 52 run. But now they made the main Alan Scott gay even though he has a wife and children, i don't know how to feel about it since this characteristic didn't exist with the main Alan Scott, but guess DC writers can write whatever they want.
