Martian Manhunter may not be as hopeful as Superman or the Flash but to inspire a ton of people in hell to stand against Doomsday is absolutely amazing

The First of the Fallen is the previous ruler of Hell before Lucifer, he actually is a pretty old character by this point he was pretty major during Hellblazer original run

Doomsday is my favorite villain in Dc. Scientists wanted to make the most destructive force ever by killing him several thousands if not millions of times. Each time he died, they scraped up Whatever remained and cloned him. Each new clone learning how to survive. In the end he became a villain that has no Goals accept to destroy. Not money, not power, just destruction Is what drives him

I honestly just feel bad for him. Literally all he knows is killing and destroy because it was what he was created to do. At least he got revenge on his creator.
I don’t think that guy is Lucifer, if it was then he wouldn’t be concerned with something so trivial as Doomsday, I believe that’s either a high ranking demon lord who’s in charge of the realm or it’s the realm itself manifesting a sort of white blood cell defence
Could be one of his many various avatars or representations, there's a lot of em! As i recall Lucifer is a multiversal entity, so there's only 1 for the whole dc multiverse.

Also isn't hell divided in different regions ruled by different beings with lucifer being at the top of that? It can pretty much just be another ruler whether new or not 👀

Martian Manhunter was hella impressive in this ngl, he basically went in with no armour or amps unlike Supergirl, but held his own against a guy that can crack armour designed to fight the presence while in the lowest pits of hell, relativish to Kara, where fire is hotter than anything in existence, and is probably not at 100%, mad respect.

Martian Manhunter is high key an OP Justice League member. When his mind is right he can fight the entire team. But usually he’s trying to be peaceful and not fight at his max power so he’ll hold back. Or has mental blocks
True, though I’m kinda more impressed by his charisma check to get the denizens of this place to work together for others.

I doubt it's Lucifer. In a Constantine book that comicpop covered they mention "the first of the fallen" is not Lucifer. Not sure if that was canon but hey 🤷🏻♀️
This isn’t mentioned in the video but the beginning of the comic also seems to imply that Doomsday just might be Krypton’s literal devil himself. Which would make sense given how Krypton’s patron deity Rao actually does exist himself in DC’s cosmology

While The Prescence is analogous to the God from the Bible, I tend to not think of him that way; I consider it more of a tribute to Superman being a Moses analog.

Hyped for Bloodwynd return...and curious to see if they're playing up his power to absorb pain/trauma to be some countermeasure to Doomsday (since it's stated the trauma of dying is what makes him stronger).
Doesn't seem like my favorite version of Hell in DC, the one that Gaiman gave us in Season of Mists during his masterful Sandman run. It seemed like that was a decently adopted version among writers at DC. I found it much more haunting and fear inducing than whatever this is. A large portion of Gaiman's hell was just having the artist show the scope that instantly turned Hell into a liminal space, where even if you escaped the torture pits you would still be alone in a hell of your own making with only your thoughts and that tremendously engulfing liminal space. Having those disparate ideas of spaces such as those and torture pits filled to the brim made it a place where any horror was not only possible, but surely was currently ongoing in some distant room, cell, valley, cliff, etc. This is not that, sadly.
I always wondered how they explain Doomsday coming back when his body is completely obliterated. Also, you'd think since they know he'd come back they'd try to imprison him instead.
He comes back no matter what. He can only be killed by the end of time.

This was a really dope story. Liked how they connected this with the Lazarus planet story, and that the guy that was possessed by doomsday became bloodwynd lol that story was kinda cool too

Yeah it took about 2 million deaths and coming back while evolution for Doomsday to grow through the ages. 😂

She is using armor that enhances her power beyond her usual level.
After the initial Death of Supes run, often when Doomsday comes back, he’s taken out pretty simply.
This is a pretty lame idea, imo.
What happens to him in whatever hell it’s supposed to be, shouldn’t have any impact on Doomsday’s power level. It’s magic. It’s like Rob saying “the literal hell.” Even the Lucifer story, doesn’t follow Christian theology, which is just stuff made up to further separate it from Judaism.
She is literally wearing plot Armour.

Pretty cool how Doomsday ends the same way we first saw him. just banging on his prison door.
Also I see that The First of the Fallen could be a facet of Lucifer. I mean think of it like this. Lets all picture Superman in our heads. Even if we all thought of Superman, we arent picturing the same Superman but a copy in our enclosed minds. The difference in the comic is that with a supernatural world, the copy or version that Martian Manhunter and Kara are interacting with is a project being forced to interact with. Another way to think of it is think of an individual in your mind. But the REAL individual knows you are interacting with a copy of themself within your mind. Because this particular individual is "The Lord of The Fallen" .

The First of the Fallen isn't Lucifer Morningstar. He's an old character from the Constantine comics. He's actually God's conscience. That voice in your head that tells you don't do that. The character of Satan in the Constantine film is based off of him. Constantine and him had a long running beef.
With Martian Manhunter having anything like Kitty’s phasing abilities, I’d have to assume that if he was less pacifistic, he’d probably annihilate everyone

No he’s not the devil, that’s Lucifer Morningstar. He’s the first of the fallen, him and two others fell before Lucifer did in Vertigo. The movie Constantine is based off the story where John tricks the first, second, and third of the fallen in a battle for his soul that would lead to a war in hell and inevitably it’s total collapse but instead they let him go.

The First of the Fallen is not Lucifer. He just fell before Lucifer rebelled. He actually met up with Constantine afew times and got his ass whipped by Lucifer
The “dreaming” in the same comics as Lucifer Morning Star also worked by “it exists because of belief in it.” All of the Endless were manifestations of so many people believing

All the dc universes have to share the 1 Lucifer, everywhere else gets an avatar or representation.
Usually it's humans depicted in hell. If a monster like Doomsday is damned to Hell, I would assume the devil would have use for such a powerful being, who is stronger than the demons that reside there. Instead of attempting to torturing him. He blends right in physically and spirituality vs a human.

So by definition, Doomsday is a threat to Hell. The ultimate survivor in Hell. Doomsday would be immune to spiritual attacks. He has no soul.
Lucifer is has more class than The Shadow. I can see him being an aspect of Luci, but not Lucifer Prime
He's definitely an aspect of Lucifer. That's how I feel with even Darkseid.
Pretty much everyone that was in the Dark Army is an aspect.
He's not the Devil, and he really doesn't like Guinness any more.

Not alot of people mention that in death of superman, supergirl pulls up on doomsday and he hits her into a power plant and she looks like fried dough and shes like did i get him. I think she died.

6:05 I believe it is the psionic realms or astral planes version of hell. Not the "real" one but possibly still connected to it. As for the first of the fallen, same deal, he is the psychic lands version of the lord of the underworld (likely an amalgamation of all of them Beelzebub Lucifer Satan mephisto etc) and thus in some ways possibly more powerful as he is the idea of the real one, and no reason to assume he/they can't communicate with each other.

he's absolutely not Lucifer, he's The First of the Fallen, a distinct and separate entity from the Hellblazer comics. he was _hinted_ to be an aspect of Lucifer for a while back when Vertigo was trying to be an extension of mainline DC at the start, before they broke off into their own Vertigo continuity, which then splintered further into Sandman and Hellblazer being their own _further_ separate continuities and this was all handled by "shut up, we don't talk about when these used to cross over anymore", which is why folding the Vertigo cosmology back into Mainline DC is and always was a _really dumb idea..._

Doomsday ripped Plastic Man apart in one issue. The violence incapacitated him to the point of unconsciousness but didn't kill him.
It is nice that Martian Manhunter recruited Supergirl to defeat Doomsday.
Also, Kara wearing a battle armor to fight Doomsday, which reminds me of her battling Darkseid during the Great Darkness Saga and the Anti-Monitor during the first Crisis.
