Not all gems were colonized , most were gifts and other were bought by the reigning monarch
No mention of the Brazilian aquamarines?? That gift was so appreciated by the Queen that she had matching pieces made, and this documentary skipped them??
La whore diamond for Camilla 14:21
Imagin dropping the crown during the Coronation.

"Mysterious circumstances" is a funny way of saying, we stole them from you so I'm not going to wear them in front of you.
It makes you wonder...King George was complicite in the murder of his cousin and family.
I would love to have a tiara or any of those jewelry that the queen had! I wouldn't care which one that I would like to have and to wear, because they are all so beautiful, gorgeous and expensive! But I would have to be a royal and I would never get to be one but I could just dream of having one!👑
This is about the most tone-deaf special on the British Royals that I've ever seen.
I've become atuned to a certain style of voice and intonation. It screams Meghan Markle kind of deception on it's self-serving way...ICK CLICK!
Tone deaf? They’re historical pieces. This is a channel dedicated to history lol.
It’s possibly tone deaf if you believe something like this shouldn’t ever be discussed solely because there are other more important things going on in the world, but again, this is history after all. Not all videos about history _has_ to be about devastation, death, great achievements, struggles, war, etc. … more often than not, a lot of it is rather mundane - just like this topic, but it’s a history related topic nonetheless discussing pieces that do have historical value to them considering their relation to the royal family dating back several centuries.
I find it rather interesting considering these are pieces I’ll never own, touch, or see in person, but it’s still pretty neat to learn about. Is it information I can use in my daily life? No, but the majority of videos on RUclips would fit that bill.
Some people like learning about pretentious shit that’s useless to the common pleb. You’re not forced to watch it lol.
Real Royalty published this documentary three years ago. This isn't even new.
Where's Alexandra?
Funny how Diana looks more regal than any of them .
Are you talking about the Diana who died 26 years ago, or is there a Diana on your street that you think looks quite good?
Let her rest in Peace. Not exhumed every 5 minutes to fulfil some nostalgic indulgence by a public using her to reanimate a long gone dream.
Regal?
The St. Edwards Crown is 5 pounds, and the diamond it is not a gift to the nation at all. It's not the same crown at all the new. They are all personal piaces of monarch, when a monarch sits on the throne, they inherit the crowns and many other other things and the cullinan dimond four is worth £50 million.
Brutish Empire
Maharajas
As opposed to those peace-loving ottomans or Mughals or Persians etc 🙄
@@sethh1943 never said they were better
It ain’t a rubbbby
The Kohinoor diamond is another jewel of the British Crown tainted with blood. It was a heart breaking scene when I saw a painting of the skinny young 11 year old boy surrendering by force his only precious possession the Kohinoor diamond to British authorities. . He died in UK almost penniless.
por essas e outras, essa Ilha deixará de existir num tempo nao muito longe
The gems flow uphill; we know what flows downhill.
He stopped at Afghans....reality is that kohinoor came back to India under Sikh empire...after the death of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, british detained his son Duleep Singh...converted him into Christianity..barred him from meeting his mother for 13 yrs..and stole kohinoor from that child.
Queen Mary was very shrewd
Perhaps a shrew?
I wouldn't mess with her! She started off very attractive and went downhill into looking fairly evil.
Theft
There was a little kerfuffle or a few more going on in the work. In turn, Bangalore has “stolen” many jobs…
Whaaagh , It’s not fair that some places have all the mines and others don’t. Shush up and share already
The Africans didn't give a fuk about diamonds. They sat there for thousands of years untouched. They wore the bones of their nearest tribes around their necks after eating them.
It's not controversial to me. But, then again, I'm not a post-colonial narcissist who has abandoned logic for whining.
Bold words coming from someone who has abandoned logic to find documentaries on RUclips to get mad at. 🤨
Smugness personified 😂
I love the la whore diamond it’s perfect t for cow Camilla ❤❤❤❤ I will buy all these diamonds
The brunette woman is wearing a FABULOUS pair of Victorian earrings! Love them!

I wonder who gets the privilege of wearing the queen's jewels now. (please not Camilla)
All females of the RF can wear her jewls with His Majesties' permission. Her Majesty has worn several of the Late Queens Jewls obviously as she is now Queen.
I desperately missed the great jewelry at the coronation of King Charles. I really did not understand seeing Princess Catherine in the headpiece she wore. She was beautiful, but the effect was honestly less splendid and felt less significant. To me, the most wonderful thing of the coronation was the tolling of the bells! I was extremely disappointed in the way that Harry acted. I’d never thought of him as a party pooper before. Thanks for showing all this gorgeous jewelry! Very uplifting! Very beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️
8:36 Mary wanted you to see her tatasssshahahahahhahahahahaha I’m Jewish
Are they holding a yard sale because I will buy for Pennie’s and ginnnies!!!
