I completely agree with you about that new Revlon foundation. I have a cabinet full of probably over 30 foundations-high end, luxury, and drugstore and this is my favorite foundation! I have to actually keep myself from using it everyday so that I use up some of my others that I spend a lot of money on. This is the best seriously!

I think putting make up on is such an art. You do it so well. All my life just relied on mascara and a bit of lipstick now being 60+ feel the need to make more effort. Not being arty it's so long winded for me trying. Can't get out quickly. 😂 Love your outfit too, looks chic.
I was able to get help a "few" years ago with the 6 minute "Mommie Make-up" full face video. I did that after after age 45. Then, I went bare faced for the past 4 years. Now that I have retired early, this site is really helping me to take more time for me! But, the basics I learned from Mommie Make-up really help in the application.
There is so much I love in this video! First, I love the bend in your hair. The clothing pieces are gorgeous and yes, your fitness routine is paying off in ♠️😉. The foundation is so beautiful on you. Colorpop is one of my favorite shadow brands, I have several of the 9 pan palettes and they are amazing. I still do shimmer on my lids (I can't seem to give it up 😂) and Colorpop shades and performance can't be beat, at a $14ish price point. Glad to see you looking so healthy and beautiful. I do love how the Milani cream blush goes on and I like the color choices, however, it disappears after a couple hours. I find that Honest Beauty cream blush has better staying powder. I am 58 with combo skin.
I agree that matte shadows works much better for mature eye lids.
I either use bare minerals original foundation or No 7 lift and luminate foundation but it might make my skin slightly breakout so I will give this foundation a try. If I use a liquid foundation, I have to set it & since I had it on hand, tried the Laura Geller Balance and Brighten foundation since it had virtually no coverage & didn't qo3k well for a foundation but works well as a setting powder, even under eyes.

Thank you for a wonderful presentation. I learned a great amount. I’m usually shy about using very much product or color when applying makeup and it shows. I really like your hairstyle too. I’m petite and usually only weighed no more than 140 but many years under 130 and very active. Now, at 71 and disabled, I’m much heavier and not able or motivated to do much of anything, including losing weight. I don’t know if anyone else is feeling the same but if you are, I am so sorry.
I will continue to watch your videos because I enjoy all types of girl talk from hair to nails to makeup to fashion and that’s my cup of tea (I was a hairstylist before I had to stop long ago). And, who knows, maybe after my upcoming surgery I may be able to go for walks again and lose some of this extra fluffy stuff. I’m not ready to give up yet!! And my granddaughter is getting married in November 2023 and I want to look at least presentable from my hair down to my shoes so I need plenty of help!!!

Just seeing this video after I purchased and received my Jones Road products. Glad I didn’t see it before purchasing. I bought:

Bronze
First let me say that my experience was quite different. I don’t use much makeup or even use everyday day, so a 65 yr old minimalist. I have combo skin which is very dry in the winter.
I really like these products and they don’t make my hair stick to my face, only my City Beauty lip gloss does that.
I just bought Elf white powder to set the makeup and not sure I need it but it is sheer and light.
I love the foundation, it isn’t heavy and doesn’t fall into the “cracks.”
I use “it CC+” for the spots that need more coverage.
I wish the Miracle Balms that are more like blush - Flushed and Miami Beach - came in smaller pots. It will take me a long time to use up, so I’m going to make small pots for my handbag and friends. ;)
Bronze I can see using all over with Flushed on my cheeks.
I purchased small samplers of Dusty Rose (same as Flushed to me), Miami Beach (wish I’d chosen Au Naturel to try as I’m not an orangey type), and Sunkissed (not sure it is much different than Bronze, but we shall see).
Overall I love them, just wish there were different size options. I should’ve listened to myself and purchased samples from Poshmark to start. It may have changed my mind on buying Flushed…a little goes a long way.
I am almost 65 I love wearing sparkly eyeshadow’s on my lid of my eyes. I started using City Beauty’s Lid Lifting cream and this product is amazing!! I don’t shy away from the eyeshadows I love because I don’t get that creepy look now! They have several other eye products I plan on trying. I absolutely love, love, love there Lip plumping gloss smooths those lines in the lips, amazing! They can be a bit pricey for some but they are having a 30% off on all products. Thought I would share always love recommendations myself from someone who finds products they love. ❤

I love this foundation. I have been using it for a few months. I think it is a great dupe for the Dior Forever and because of the price...I like it more. I did a splurge during the Sephora sale. I ordered the Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Drops. I can't wait to try it. I hope it does exactly what it claims. I really enjoy the GRWMs.

The COVERGIRL Exhibitionist 24-Hour Kohl Eyeliner, is going to be the affordable eyeliner you will want to try. I’ve bought almost every liner out that that promises no transfer and guess what? They all transfer! I grabbed this liner because it was cheap and I told myself this was the last liner I was trying … it does not transfer, last all day!
I think I need to try that colourpop eyeshadow palette. All the colors are up my alley and being 53 I definitely don’t use shimmer shadows anymore. 😊

Does it crumble? I like to 'scribble' eye pencil among my lashes, not a precise 'liner' line. But most have little crumbs that fall into my eyes as the day wears on.
No, I've never had it crumble as I go in between my lashes, and at the lashline for tightlining. I do make sure eyes are dry before applying .

...and thanks for the Jones Road report last week....I expect I would have the same experience as you did...saved me a bundle....I did try IL Makiage, Woke Up Like This foundation...which is just so-so. Their corrector is good. My skin at 63 responds differently than it did--to many products--only a few years ago. What the hey?! Sheer just works better for me.

I had to find another makeup, when they discontinued my favorite. I found Maybelline dream radiant liquid foundation; and the Maybelline eraser (pink) for the under eyes. They are beautiful; and, BTW, I am 65 yoa. Elf cosmetics has great Lip Plumper and I use their stick blusher.
Hi Kimberly- love your channel! I'm 57 and while overall I don't have too many facial wrinkles, under and over my eyes I have a ton of fine surface lines. Whenever I wear any kind of foundation or powder it really accentuates the wrinkles. If I wore so many different products I would look frightful. I use Retin A and a good skin care routine. Any suggestions?

I bought the Illuminance on your recommendation. You all were right, I LOVE it. I tried the warm vanilla color, instead of my usual Ivory, and boy that made a difference. I am delighted to have something new in my arsenal with graduation from college looming closer. I'm interviewing for new jobs soon! And I'm over 50, so it's awesome to have a new haircut and highlights and a new foundation to make my husband exclaim "you look younger!" Then he handed me a new AARP Idaho card. I'm not even joking. But it's hilarious. And I will be a new teacher very soon, coming this Fall, if all falls in place. Thanks again!

I started using cream blush about 10 years ago - and haven’t looked back! Currently, I am on my fourth pot of Milani Coral Crush. The brownish-pink Bobbi Brown colors I used over 20 years simply no longer suited me, and I began using coral shades. Good decision for me. 🙋♀️👏👍🥰‼️

I don't wear silk blouses but do have silk pillowcases so my hair doesn't break and the skin benefits. I don't know why but the silk clothing feels mostly too mature for my tastes. I've found that Macy's, Nordstrom, and Amazon seem to be meeting my clothing needs, and Macy's participates in Rakuten, always has a sale going on. I just bought a pair of 108 dollar Guess jeans for 64.00. I really like their shoes, too. Right now, they have a 30% sale going on, and you only have to spend 25.00 to get free shipping. Just a tip! Love the Foundation. I will try it. I’ve been using the Dior based on your recommendation. If you need a new eyeliner, try the Benefit Bang Badgal 24 hour pencil. I love it and have used it a long time. It doesn’t transfer.
