Hi there. I just wanted to know if I can make the filling day before and then put it all together the next day? This will be for a party that I want to bring these too. They look so yummy! Thank you for your video.

Absolutely! When it comes to entertaining, I like to prepare as much as possible beforehand. You can also make the salsa ahead of time too. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾

Great Video. However your adding steps that are unnecessary. once you've pressed it, remove the top layer of ziplok, and cup the bottom one in your palm, you can fill it, while holding the dough, then fold the plastic over, to get a basic seal. Place this folded empanada down and use a bowl or large cup to press down and seal, over top of the plastic. This will seal the empanada, and give you a nice cleanly cut edge. You will rarely see a Colombian hand sealing the edges with corn based empanadas, in the manner your showing, that is predominantly used for flour based empanadas. Your method, works; however if your making more than a handful of empanadas, you will be working all day. Cheers! Disfruta!
