1 Onion (medium), chopped
1 egg
4 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
1 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
1 tsp Creole Seasoning, (I used Creole Kick from SweetSmokieJoe.com)
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Peppers
1/4 tsp Chili Powder
8 oz. can Tomato Sauce
1 Tbsp Diced Jalapeños
1/2 cup of Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup of Grated Monterey Jack Cheese

did the 425 temp work for you? I tried today and it was too high for 15 mins. they were burnt at 10 mins @ 425. I will probably adjust to like 375 for 15min and see how it goes.
A fast tip: get grands size biscuits in the can. You can peel each biscuit (I've made 3 from each!). Put your filling in and close as usual. These come out smaller than yours. Tip 2: take each whole biscuit and use a rolling pin to stretch them and you have a large size! Those biscuits are so versatile!! 🥰 I luuuuv your vids!!!!!!!

Looks great! I was talking with my daughter about making beef and cheese empanadas! I make the peach cobbler, lemon curd and apple pie empanadas and everyone loves them! I'm sure I can make these! Thanks for sharing! 😊
You can also buy already formed empanada discos (Spanish for empanada disks) as an easier alternative to using pie crust.
Tip: Add Sofrito and chopped olives (optional) to level up the flavor in the meat cooking process for more authentic empanadas.
Yeah, everyone's ground beef is just a little different lol. I've seen olives, diced veggies of several kinds (roasted red peppers, potatoes, even carrots), onions, corn... not all at once obviously. If you wouldn't sit down and eat it with a spoon, it's not worth using. It's gotta have that flavorful comforting thing when you bust open that empanada.

AB try using sofrito and sazon! My dad’s Puerto Rican and that’s how he makes them. They’re so good🤤

You have countless great recipes,this weekend I made your biscuits and gravy for my husband he went crazy. Thank you! The empanadas were slammn!! Instead of tomato sauce I used a can of Chipotle sauce that made it kick. I bought filo dough so it didn't turn out like yours tonight I'm going to just make the dough from scratch
