Created by Alex Zsoldos, award-winning wedding dance instructor and owner of First Dance Charlotte, “Learn To Dance For Your Wedding At Home” is the QUICKEST and EASIEST way to learn your first dance online. Unlike other tutorials and online programs, we keep things simple and beautiful without overloading you with unnatural choreography and awkward “ballroom-y” moves you don't need to know and don't have time to learn. If you are looking for wedding dance instruction that will make you look NATURAL, RELAXED, and LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING (and quickly!), you've come to the right place.
When you sign up for this tutorial, you will learn all of the steps you saw in the video above. The teaching method is the exact same as if you were in a private lesson, i.e. you learn each step on it’s own before putting it together into choreography. With multiple angles, slow motion and tons of troubleshooting notes, it will be just like your instructor is in the room with you.
You don't have to be a professional dancer, or have ever danced before to learn these moves in time for your wedding. In fact, my partner in this video is my husband, a total beginner dancer (he's actually a piano instructor IRL!) If he can learn these steps, you can too!

ok, this is my wedding dance idea: Latch on Sam Smith's piano version, halfway through the song the piano goes away and the DJ starts the beat. The party begins and the dance floor is open to the guests. Simply my dream.

I think that is a great idea! You should definitely do it. When it's time to start working on your dance, come back to this video and enroll in this tutorial. You can just change the quality of your movement from less flowy to more to the beat, but still do the same dance. 😉

Hey guys, my partner and I are learning this for our wedding! However, we're struggling a bit with the footwork from 1:50 to 2:08 and also from 2:57 to 3:18 because we can't see your feet! Is it a standard step sequence?

Hi Alex, it is not a “standard” step sequence found in traditional ballroom syllabi but a combination step that I created and that I teach lots of beginners.
