As some of you may know The Last Samurai is probably one of my favourite movies ever. Every time I watch it I cannot resist crying like a little kid. The message that this movie conveys hits the core deeply for me. Now that I'm reading Yukio Mishima's "Runaway Horses" about Shinpūren Rebellion and more I understand their culture more emotional this movie gets for me.
This video I had to have in my uploaded list, so I had to make it.

Time and time again, I have come back to watch this movie. It has touched my heart in some measure. When I feel like I am nothing, I watch this movie. Tom Cruise is my all time favourite actor and a person I look up to.

Perfect Soundtrack
I always loved samurai since I was a child I watched this show with my father I never truly understood a samurai sacrifice till I got older but dam does that HYA part give me chils. Warriors screaming in a cohesive way while running into a unfair battle riding their steady horses knowing they will not survive but they will die honorably as samurai and that they are protecting their wives and children.
Oh yes.. One of my favorites movie of all time ♥️ Maybe not correct with the History, but a powerful and epic story. Such an underrated masterpiece

It's a really beautiful film. The beauty of it is that it indicates to us how we might develop a more meaningful relationship with one another, with nature, and how we might also lead more purposeful lives.

This movie changed my life, I have watched it countless times, over and over and each time I become to understand the deeper more spiritual meaning behind it, if you truly watch this movie and not just see it as an action movie then you will see the true beauty this masterpieces beholds, and the deeper more powerful and beautiful meaning behind it. This movie was outstanding, nothing will beat this

well it would be the greatest living in such a beautiful village in Japan just living in Japan would be the greatest for me. I personally believe that Japan is the greatest country the culture the discipline i love Japan always and forever. on top of that it gave us anime. What more could i ask for

Gladiator/The Last Samurai/300 and Braveheart as some of my favourite movies of all time and this soundtrack is beautiful.
To look for a perfect blossom is rare thing you could spend your life looking and it would not be a wasted life 🥺

I remember "The Last Samurai" having such an impact on me when I saw it in theaters, so much so that I saw it twice in a row. But surprisingly I haven't watched it again in the years since. This video makes me want to. Really captures what I remember being captured by.

I just watched it for the Nth time. Never gets old. It's on Amazon, free with prime membership. Always makes me cry and also lifts my spirits. It's "perfect".
I watched this movie in my home...I know this sounds stupid but i gave a standing ovation at the last scene. I don't know why I did, I was standing clapping on my own with tears in my eyes.

John Logan is the only writer to produce two endings that made me cry for 10+ minutes straight: The Last Samurai and Penny Dreadful. Love this movie, and great video.

Last Samurai was a beautiful movie. Of course it wasnt a historical masterpiece but it was an excellent story.

If I had to narrow down the one movie that was the catalyst for my love of Japanese culture, its lands, its history, its people, I would tell this was the one. The Last Samurai left such a lasting impression when I first saw it, it's among my top choices of movies. I hope to set foot on that beautiful country, and relish in it. And definitely, watch as the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, adorning the land in such grace. As always, another fantastic video Garo.
