Why can’t I just plug it into the wiring for the hitch? Thanks for your help❣️
It is a different type of plug and wouldn't fit.
Any idea what size the hitch pin/bolt with the sleeve is

How do you connect the license plate light? The installer left my elderly dad to do it himself!
The light should be installed in the license plate bracket. If not it just screws in at the top of the holder in the center. I would take it back to the person you had install the lift and have them install the light. The light isn't separate and should come installed in the license plate bracket. Hope this helps.
Thanks. But the light is installed just not connected. We finally figured it out.
Its easy to do this by yourself. Leave the wires connected, use the up and down of the lift to position the lift at the right height, to insert the lift into the hitch. These things are too heavy to be man-handling them.
That is an option
Better yet, get a large flat type furniture dolly from Harbor Freight and put the lift on IT then roll it to the vehicle. I do this all the time moving lifts from vehicle to vehicle by myself at 66 years old.
Work smarter, not harder they say and you did just that!

If you have a manual lift ramp, this wouldn't be the same setup as you would have.
