I played a lot of Magic Survival. The discord community is really nice. I quit after a few months, and I'm now spending some time on Brotato, after you last recommended it. I agree, it's a fun game.
Plenty of quality games, installing Chiki's Chase right now. I didn't expect to see a roguelike about motorcycles lol, what a surprise. Thanks for the video as usual!
Nice, Chiki's Chase is a fun little casual cross-over between roguelites and endless runners :) Nice as a "I don't want anything complicated today" game :) And yeah, haha, Road Redemption Mobile is the only motorcycle roguelike I've ever heard of - AND it's great fun. Thanks for watching, mate, and I hope you'll enjoy some of these games.
You ever heard of dungeon quest? Just the fact alone that it has hundreds, and I do mean hundreds, of weapons/armor that has unique synergies with each other is impressive.
Ohhh yes, Dungeon Quest! That's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Thanks for reminding me, mate. I remember playing that games ages ago. I had forgotten about it by now, to be honest. Definitely used to enjoy it back then - thank you :)
Hey Nimble, great video as always. Can i request this kind of video about casual games please? Its just a type of game that isnt talked about as often. Thank you.
hoplite, luck be a landlord, brough / broughlikes (868hack, p1 select, cinco paus, seven scrolls, loopy wizards), the big indie titles (downwell, binding of isaac, FTL, dead cells, slay the spire, crypt of the necromancer), wazhack, tallowmere, dicey dungeon, etc
I would definetaly play soulnight but. I found i needed to kinda use my e mail if im right. (Last time i played it in the past i never needed to do dat 😭
Hm... maybe something like Kingdom Two Crowns, Gunfire REborn, Bit Dungeon III, Human: Fall Flat? There aren't many games that live up to all those 3 criteria :) I don't know if you're on ANdroid, but if you are, you can find games like that in my app "MiniREview" by activating filters like "co-op", "controller support", and "paid" :)
Platformer fighting games... hm... I'll have to think about that one. Thanks for the recommendation, mate :) The first 2 that come to mind are Brawlhalla and Flash Party. There aren't too much platform fighting games. But maybe I can create one about platformer games in general.
I'll definitely write it down on my list of video ideas, thanks mate! :) What's tricky about a video like that is that most multiplayer games that aren't popular very quickly close down (because it's expensive to run multiplayer games), OR they're not that great because there's nobody to play with :( But I'll keep an eye out for sure :D
@@NimbleThor yeah you are right. I mean not the brawl stars, mobile legends and bla bla. Because everybody knows these games. I love your videos and sincerity. You are doing what you love we see that
Ahhh, I know what you mean. Did you already watch my video about the best online multiplayer games? Maybe you know them all already, but definitely worth a try 😊
I do think the PC experience is superior (I've only ever tried it on mobile). But I quite enjoyed the mobile version 😊 Definitely a well designed game, I'm glad you're enjoying it too 🙌
Mobile is great. Way better than expected. On PC I have favorite weapons, on mobile I have different faves. I don't have a Bluetooth controller, but if you do, there are hardly any differences. Makes sense, the PC version is like 2 gb. Mobile about the same. I think it's a few patches behind usually though.
P.s. Nona really saves the day when playing solo using the touchscreen. The ability to revive yourself makes the harder difficulties doable even tho you can't swipe a screen with the same efficiency as a controller or mouse.
@@NimbleThor No problem! I know gunfire reborn is a good game and all, but over the years i kinda developed a grudge against single player games that require you to be online regardless So umm yeah, apologies
I think they do it to make it too difficult to get the game for free. Also you have to purchase half of the heroes. But it really is an incredible game that somehow plays better on my phone than on my computer😂. I'm super grateful they ported it, and gladly purchased everything.
Dang... typical :/ Google made a bunch of games unavailable for download because they've started requiring app developers to update their games. If they don't, they can't be downloaded on Android 13 and above :/ Such a shame.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, mate :) Next up, I'm gonna have a look at some new games. And in just a month or so, I'm gonna start planning the big "games-of-year" video. Stay tuned.
Thanks for that compliment, mate :) And you're more than welcome. I always try to look for ACTUAL good games to recommend. Quality over quantity, hehe. I hope you'll have a fantastic Sunday. Stay awesome!
This is a recommended action roguelike game, while Slay the Spire is a turn base roguelike deck builder,i love that game,i put over 200+ hour in the game, unlock all card and relic and almost all achievement :)
Thank you, mate! :D I'm glad you liked it. I hope you'll enjoy one or two of the games, and have a GREAT rest of your Sunday :) See you around in the comments.
You all have no idea what roguelike games even are. You're calling all sorts of random different games roguelikes and they don't even look or play like real roguelikes. Games like Nethack and Pixel Dungeon are real roguelikes. Metroidvania games and Robotron style shmups are NOT roguelikes!
While you are correct.... Who cares? The basic traits are there. Most of these are roguelites but again who cares? Roguelikes/lites have now become such a large sub genre and encompasses a large assortment of games with different features. The basic blue prints remain the same... Die, upgrade, start over rinse and repeat... Why get so bogged down on symantics?

anything called a clone of Enter the Gungeon should be tried out !
A Way Home is such a fun game! i highly recommend !
Haha, that's a nice perspective, mate 😂 And Uhhh, I'm glad you enjoyed The Way Home too 👏 It deserves some attention.

Casual games. I'll see what I can do ;)
@@NimbleThorThank you!
Great list brother. Thanks for putting it together. Idk why the playstore has to promote the same 20 games and NOTHING else.
Vampire survival and magic suevival is brutal, 30 minutes quickly lass by
Where soul knight at, the game is good for casual and you can also play hardcore and overall amazing looking game and very addicting
It's mentioned here in my first video about action roguelikes: ruclips.net/video/7PWczAXiZUo/видео.html - amazing game for sure! :)

The Way Home is a nice game but the gameplay didn't grab me as much as some other great recommendations in this video.
Very solid game though
Thanks for sharing your experiences with it. That's very helpful for everyone reading along here in the comments :)
6:24 no way vampire survivors has a sonic 1 (or 2) ring easter egg? Like the one where you go in da big ring and you try to find le chaos emerald
I had a look at chiki. It's not cosmetics only, you can't upgrade your character without the full game.
Ahh, yes, the paid version lets you unlock extra slots for items, that's true :o Thanks for the correction.
I would definetaly play soulnight but. I found i needed to kinda use my e mail if im right. (Last time i played it in the past i never needed to do dat 😭
Can you recommend some rougelike paid coop games for Android and has controller support?

Gloomgrave is a pretty great first person dungeon crawler roguelike. As a random suggestion :)
Omg that a really gud game, can i have some another first person roguelike game on mobile 😢
Ohhh yes, thanks for the recommendation, mate! :)
Recommend games like mobile games
These are all mobile games :D

I think the Xbox controller is the best overall in terms of compatability with the most games.
@@NimbleThor much appreciated!

U made me find MT childhood game (Ruins Story) bruh i love you for now on
Small note about GunFire Reborn: despite being like 8$ i don’t understand why single player isn’t offline (while on steam/console it is)
That's a very good point - thanks for pointing it out, mate :)
